I was kind of happy for Jon Gray, long-time starter for the Colorado Rockies.
I couldn’t quite muster enough “give-a-shit” for a World Series with 2 wildcard teams but I am glad to see the Rangers get their first! ️. Plus, baseball is baseball!
The only reason I didn’t want the Rangers to win is that now my Minnesota Vikings are on the clock as the professional sports team (of the “Major 4”) to go the longest without winning their league’s championship…Sixty-two years & counting!!
@werehatrack Since it’s never happened, I’m guessing you have us confused with some other sports team. (Twins have won twice…Wild (Mild), Timberwolves (Timber-Puppies) and my Vikings are all on the perennial loser list…I keep dreaming!
