@Kidsandliz @Star2236 My local one is no fun, they ziptied all the hands closed so you can’t make obscene gestures with them anymore. They also drill through real TV remotes to ziptie them down as props.

My understanding is that medically it is called the “middle finger reflex”; a necessary and healthy reflex that can be triggered by a large variety of “situations”.

@Kidsandliz I wouldn’t feel at all bad… I don’t go to Ikea often, but when I do go, I’ve noticed at least one hand is ALWAYS arranged like that. And left like that.

It’s the fourth law of thermodynamics, a hand at rest in an IKEA will always be manipulated to give the bird given time.
