The prices seem too good to be true and all I hear are people complaining about waiting to long for stuff to be delivered. Has Anyone bought from there and had good luck?
I saw it advertised on tv and downloaded the app. But I have not bought anything from there. The prices are cheap, but you are right, they seem too good to be true. They say right in the tv ad that you have to wait for shipping. So I might have to try it.
yeah- they’re not horrible. They ship from China and 3-4 weeks is standard. The good news is they’re pretty good about any issues you might experience, and their app ain’t bad. The best resource is Aliexpress, though- some digging can find anything at 60-75% off retail- and just beware some things are geared to Westerners with prices accordingly- dig a bit and the pricing is ridiculously low.
I have bought several things. Shipping time is not predictable. There are a bunch of different sellers so some are faster than others. Most sales were no problem. I have only ordered one item that was more than a few dollars. It showed up as described within a week. Other items were more like three weeks.
Read the descriptions of what you are ordering. Some sellers have more than one thing listed together. You click on it at one price and if you chose a different option the price may be more.
I have had one item never show up. I was offered my choice of a refund or the seller sending another item. Refund was a short time after I requested it. Another package arrived without contents and same options of refund or replacement.
Just placed my first order for $1 plus $1 shipping ($2 total). This was just a test. Not expecting great service for this price but I’ll have to see before I have any opinion.
What surprised me was the product is very light (think about an individual sock) and if you increase the quantity, the shipping goes up by another $1 each time. Annoying. Found the same item on Aliexpress for $1.39 with free shipping. Can order up to 4 at a time. Any more than 4 results in a shipping charge. Don’t see why because I can just place many orders of quantity 4 to avoid the shipping.
@cengland0 they make their money off the shipping. Many items are “free” with $1-2 shipping. If I go on eBay, the item will be $1-2 with free shipping.
@Snoopa I’m specifically talking about Chinese stuff which is most of wish and the comparable eBay stuff. I’m sure the shipping is a lot different than within the US.
@cengland0 While it is kind of annoying that you cannot get combine shipping even though they ship combined , The truth about Ali express or DH gate or any of them It’s that most of the time on those kind of Wholesale places, You have to buy you know 500 or 1000. The good deal go slowly away when you looking to buy less.
@rie60 And that is why were are on meh. Right? They buy the 5000 of them and then piecemeal them out to us in quantities of 3, well except fidget spinners with dead batteries.
They’re awesome. The items are hit or miss. You have to read the description with detail. Or you could get a speaker case with no speaker. Wish is like eBay for Chinese distributors. The actual company is amazing with customer support. I got refunded when items didn’t come in. Still got to keep it when it finally showed. Things that didn’t meet my expectations were also refunded but it has to be outside description. So if it says it’s metal and comes in as aluminum, refund.
@cengland0 I think we are missing the point that I’m trying to make here. I’m very familiar with aluminum. I work with it everyday being an electrician. There’s a reason for aluminum use and that is because of how soft it is. To help with absorption on impact.
@UncleVinny that annoyed me too. I ended up signing up only because the item I wanted was only available on wish, not even eBay had it. Google lead me to wish, so I could at least see that it was there before I made an account.
@f00l oh sure. It was a knockoff of a $300 (at the time) split ender pro. Now I see you can buy a different version of it for $99. I paid $35 for the knockoff.
@UncleVinny I didn’t like having to create an account either. But a friend sent me a link to a product so I knew the site had what I was looking for. I was going to buy so I didn’t mind creating the account.
Facebook is the same way. I couldn’t look at anybody’s profile – even public ones – without creating an account for myself.
I have bought a few small items, micro sd cards (which were decent) and metal card multi tools(which weren’t the best quality) . If you don’t mind the long shipping time then give it a try
If you look for clothes, remember that the sizes aren’t identical to American sizes(XL on Wish= L for many American stores)
@stryper2000 the sizing is sometimes way different. In the women’s sizes, sometimes 5x ranges anywhere from a L to a 2x. The comments are full of complaints about how the sizing charts don’t even match properly.
My annoyance with the clothes is that it might say it’s cotton for a t-shirt, yet it is more like swimsuit/spandex material when it arrives. Or the print looks nothing like the photos. I swear they steal photos from legit clothing manufacturers, make a shitty knockoff, and hope you won’t care since it was cheap.
@RiotDemon@stryper2000 Having been dealing with Chinese inflatable toy manufacturers for years, I can absolutely confirm that theft of genuine product photos in an attempt to advertise a cheap knockoff is very rampant. I have had photos I took of my own toys in my own backyard nicked and they’re live right now on dozens of Chinese manufacturers’ websites. Their finished product is, of course, never the same as the genuine article. If this were attempted within the US, it would be considered false advertising.
@f00l Thanks. Yeah, I know books are cool. My mom’s a librarian, and she always covers that angle pretty good at Christmas. I wanted to get mom a librarians of invercargill poster, but they don’t sell 'em. https://imgur.com/a/BzbU9
I buy small items from Wish fairly often. I avoid the clothing, though. I’ve never had any problems except for a package that never showed up, which they refunded immediately once I reported it.
I used them quite a bit last year. Not so much this one. Numerous items never came or were damaged. Like others said, customer support is fairly good though. Clothing will not fit, not at all. Even a large has always been far too small for me, and I’m a medium in clothing. Two cute miniskirts have fit, but of course they were listed as one martial but were entirely different when they arrived. Most items are thin or scratchy and unravel if you look at them funny.
As far as cosmetics go, never buy from them! It’s knock off and unregulated as far as the contents and fairly well known that it’s dangerous as hell.
I’ve recently started buying from them. Prices are really very good, but remember, you get what you pay for. I bought a fake $50 silver coin from them for 41 + 41 shipping. The word “dollar” on it was spelled “Dolar”. But hey, it was only 2 “dolars”… Shipping can be painfully long, but worse yet, there is NO tracking available once the item is state side. I vape and have bought cotton and coils that are really quite good… Bought some Pink Floyd cuff links and Donald trump toilet paper…
At a different job I bought a bunch of really cheap Chinese crap that was then sold on Amazon. If you ran into a description of Marvel necklaces and such that made you blow air out of your nose that was mine most likely.
While most of the shipping can take a month or longer, sometimes you’ll find items that arrive within a week. Just look for the gold cart icon. I did this with a reusable, folding straw that I keep on my keychain.
Yeah, there’s a lot of unique things on there. I also have a 3 in 1 flashlight/lantern/table fan and some various hubs and adapters I’ve been meaning to try out. It’s fun looking for stuff.
Wish sells mostly junk not worth the dollar you pay but occasional good surprises. No to clothes. Cheap fabric and workmanship, xxl fits a child, hubby had multiple charges on his card for which no merch ever arrived. Customer service was a never ending transfers, time on hold, insufficient answers, no resolution.
I’ve bought some cheap headphones from them(not just inexpensive, CHEAP) first ones were airpod knock offs, that came apart the SECOND time i removed them from the charging case…
and by came apart, i mean the charge port stayed attached to the pin in the case, and the thread thin wire broke off at the solder joint.
searching for pics…must have deleted them…
they instantly gave me a refund.
rolled the dice with a different style of Bluetooth headphones from them, then got a pair from meh, and most recently gave up on those, and bought USB-C Pixel buds.
I0tem-. Small ring with a stone and 2 skulls- 1 on each side of the stone. The cost is $1 and $1 to ship. Total= $2.
Comment from “crystal”- Says it is solid gold but it isn’t !!! Gold color is rubbing off!
Comment from"angel"- It says this ring is 10k solid gold, Imagine my surprise when wearing it for only A-day that it used nearly plated.
BTW- It says both in the title and in the description that this is plated gold.
Crystal and angel- You paid $2 for this ring. I don’t know how much gold you buy, But $2 would get you just about as much as it would take to fill this O.
READ. READ. Your ignorance is out on the Internet forever now.
@RiotDemon A Shadow Heartless from the Kingdom Hearts series, and a Christmas Pikachu. They likely aren’t to arrive before Christmas but I doubt they’ll care at all. lol
I have ordered from wish and most of my orders were of poor quality fake gold or fake silver. Cheaply made of inferior material, some orders arrive damaged, and some of my orders never arrived and although they say they will make things right they have no clue what right is. They take too long to issue a refund (14 days)or they want to give you wish money. their customer service is non existent it’s all text or email. Their is no live person assistance. Over all if any one is considering ordering from wish; I wish for you to take your business some where’s else this. Company is a fraud. On one of my orders I ordered a no contact it thermometer and not once but twice they sent me an oral thermometer. Please people don’t let yourself become a victim of wish services or lack of.

Hi guys. I brought an iPad “bundle” which said it contained iPad mini, iPad mini 2, iPad mini3 and iPad mini 4. I have only received 1 so far. Has anyone else brought bundle iPads and do they come separately? I can’t get hold of anyone from the company. The customer service is awful. Hope someone can help. Tom
@RiotDemon I have emailed 3 times and nothing back. I am wanting to know if these bundles actually mean bundles. I got the 4 because various family members wanted iPads. Not sure it’s weird. Tom
Yea, it’s pretty awesome
I saw it advertised on tv and downloaded the app. But I have not bought anything from there. The prices are cheap, but you are right, they seem too good to be true. They say right in the tv ad that you have to wait for shipping. So I might have to try it.

I have seen the same item for a wide range of prices. There is a window where you can cancel orders.
I quit buying from there because I kept having issues with them sending wrong items. Customer service was good about refunds.
Pretty much all the stuff I want, I can buy from eBay with less hassle.
Oh, also… Don’t buy clothes. They suck.
@RiotDemon half of everything that we’ve bought from them was either wrong or damaged before we got it. Pretty disappointing.
I have bought several things. Shipping time is not predictable. There are a bunch of different sellers so some are faster than others. Most sales were no problem. I was tempted but watched some YouTube haul videos and it convinced me not for me.
Just placed my first order for $1 plus $1 shipping ($2 total). This was just a test. Not expecting great service for this price but I’ll have to see before I have any opinion.

@RiotDemon I do online retail, shipping is the worst part of it. It cost my customers $10-30 for expedited shipping.
@Snoopa aluminum is metal though?
@RiotDemon you’re right. But I thought like a hard metal.
@Snoopa Aluminum is hard enough to make jet airplanes out of it.
@cengland0 I think we are missing the point that I’m trying to make here. I’m very familiar with aluminum. I work with it everyday being an electrician. There’s a reason for aluminum use and that is because of how soft it is. To help with absorption on impact.
@Snoopa I think you said it wrong and are now trying to change what you said to cover your ass. And that last paragraph made no sense at all
@somf69 never heard of it! But they want me to create an account just to browse, and that ain’t my bag.
@UncleVinny
@UncleVinny that annoyed me too. I ended up signing up only because the item I wanted was only available on wish, not even eBay had it. Google lead me to wish, so I could at least see that it was there before I made an account.

What was it that even eBay didn’t have? Can we ask?
@f00l oh sure. It was a knockoff of a $300 (at the time) split ender pro. Now I see you can buy a different version of it for $99. I paid $35 for the knockoff.

@RiotDemon
Does that actually work?
Although there is no point me letting my hair grow like that. It way too thin and fine to look like much when long
Makes me wonder if I have a thyroid prob sometimes.
@f00l it works… Takes forever though.
@UncleVinny uh… What is your bag.
Anyone know what they paid for the wish.com domain?
Guessing it was more than $1.

I bought some rings and some marvel fidget spinners. Never had a problem.
I’ll check it out. That 3-4 weeks shipping time doesn’t sound good for Christmas presents though.
Oh yeah, I just remembered I need to check out the meh threads and see what sites to visit for Christmas gifts. I got 14,15 and 17 year old cousins.
I used to complain about the price of little kids todays, now that their older, I’m complaining I don’t know what ‘cool’ is anymore.
@wew
Uh… Can’t promise that your teenaged family members will agree, but, … uh …
Books are cool.
Some people/dorks think so, anyway.
@f00l Thanks. Yeah, I know books are cool. My mom’s a librarian, and she always covers that angle pretty good at Christmas. I wanted to get mom a librarians of invercargill poster, but they don’t sell 'em. https://imgur.com/a/BzbU9
@wew When you figure out what is cool you will then complain about the prices even more since teen stuff tends to cost more than little kid stuff.
that should read ‘the price of little kids toys.’ sorry
@wew Hehe Sure enough, go with that lol
