Going to be in Back Bay next week, it is Boston Restaurant Week.. Need suggestions
2So, I am heading out for a class located in Back Bay Boston next week. It is restaurant week, which works out perfectly financially, since our “limit” for dinner is $50.
Here is the list of restaurants participating in Restaurant week…

Any recommendations?? I ate at Capital Grille in CT last week, same menu. I do not like sushi. Other than that, I am open to just about any restaurant there…

A little out of your way but worth it. No name is classic
@CaptAmehrican I think I have eaten there in the past… I lived north of Boston a while ago, and I was going through the list of places I have dined. I must eat a lot!!!
Ask for the goat discount.
Davio’s is supposed to be good. I’ve eaten at the Papa Razzi in Burlington, it was really good. Strega is excellent. Summer Shack has been around forever so I can’t imagine it’s bad (and they have multiple restaurants).
With all of that said, if you can eat at the Top of the Hub restaurant for $38 it’s a great place for dinner and the ambiance is amazing. I’ve been two or three times in my life. It’s located on the 52nd floor of the Prudential Tower (second tallest building in Boston) just below the observation deck and the views are amazing. You’ll want to dress in business attire like the lovely people in this photograph:
I’ve never had a bad meal there and it’s like hitting a tourist destination and a meal all in one with the view.
Hey, now you’ve got the opportunity to try a Big Mac!
Davio’s is good. Top of the Hub as well. Those 2 get my vote, fwiw. Have fun!
My old 'hood from nearly 20 years ago! Interesting to see some familiar names still around.
I was going to recommend “Tim’s Bar and Grill” in the South End, but it looks like they closed years ago. They made a damn fine burger that was the size of a personal pan pizza.
