From time to time I get links from people with headlines from articles promising the "creepiest things on Google Maps". Usually I avoid such ridiculous articles, because the images there are just ridiculous usually, or they are clearly planned.
I enjoy seeing natural things through Street View (in other words; images of the landscape or of cool things in random places which weren't done just to be on Street View)
Last summer, my sister and her husband visited my younger brother. Street view of my brother's house shows my sister getting something out of her car, while my brother, his wife, and my brother in law are seated at a table in his side yard.
The amazing part is that Foxy, my sister's dog, is calmly sitting sitting next to her feet and photogenically looking into the camera.
If Google would stop blurring the human faces, we could replace photo albums with Street View.
On the other hand, Foxy's face was not blurred. What if she gets a canine lawyer and takes Google to court for taking a picture without offering a puppy treat first?
The image of us, while technically blurred, is so close (we are about to cross the street where the Google car passes us) that anyone who even casually knows us would recognize us. The car's camera rig's shadow is on the ground right next to us as it passes by. Not gonna post it like @cengland0. ;-)
I can be seen mowing my lawn. You can zoom in (which I will not do here) and see that I'm holding my cell phone taking a picture of the google car as it drives by.
@Willijs3 No advanced warning. I just live on a piece of property where I can see 3 different streets from my backyard and I saw it coming into the neighborhood.
Yes my garage is packed full of things. At least it is all very well organized on shelves.
You spotted only one camera but there are three visible in that photo. Look at the mailbox and you'll see a camera housing attached. I have 9 hi-resolution 1080p cameras placed around the property recording 24 hours a day. Not a high crime area but I like knowing what is going on around the house.
I love my RX 450h but the previous RX 330 model was better. They took a couple features away that I liked and used. No longer has a laser cruise control, the mirror auto dims and I have to turn it off every time and it turns back on again next time I start the car, cannot lower and raise the vehicle with a built-in compressor, the GPS is no longer touch screen, and the stupid computer doesn't recognize the old commands and I cannot figure out how to cancel a destination by voice. The sunglass case has been replaced with a button that I would never use. But all-in-all, I'm satisfied with it for as little as I drive. I have 11K miles on it and it's 3 years old.
You found it!!! That's so cool.

A friend of mine was captured on Street View wheeling his suitcase down the street to catch the bus to the airport.

@hamjudo My puppy's face was blurred by Google on Street View.
@looseneck Is this your dog? No wonder why they blurred it.

@cengland0 - (Little girl): This is my doggie - his name is Porky"
@cengland0 Oh no! My doggies are better behaved.

Street view next to our home shows me walking one of our daughters to school.
However, Google Street View didn't know where we were walking since my phone is not by Android.

@cengland0 This is fantastic. Did you have advance notice about the car driving by or are you just lightning quick with your phone's camera?
@Willijs3 No advanced warning. I just live on a piece of property where I can see 3 different streets from my backyard and I saw it coming into the neighborhood.
@cengland0 congrats, I can see you've lost some weight since the last Street view update. Nicely done!
And the garage still had a few spots available form more Meh stuff. Carry on.
BTW, Lexus called and there's minor recall on your RX.
BTW2, is that a security camera housing hanging from the garage soffit?
@cengland0 I wonder why the Germans could possibly be all ticked off about Street view privacy issues?
@RedOak Ha, you're good.
