@MEHcus The write-up mentioned "tweaks to make it more aggravating" to get one. Was that in reference to a smaller quantity offered or was it about server improvements?
@ACraigL Technically there already has been one but it was internal only. Not sure that this one will be made public. But the TL:DR version basically states that we were more focused on performance (making sure the site didn't crash) than we were accuracy (capping it right at 500).
@MEHcus Ironically, while I gave the Xbox away, I still have every. single. paper. bag.
I offered them to a friend with a dachshund who eagerly accepted them, and am still waiting for her to pick them up. She even does dachshund rescue (I am boggled that this is A Thing), so, like, this should theoretically be a windfall. But ...
@MEHcus Maybe you could ask people if they're cool deferring for a month. Get enough people to hold out and you get time to scramble a neat fuku experience for the 119 overages.
@MrMark Based on the reference number on your tracking information you should be able to have an idea of if you were good or not. Based on the my own number and the numbers from people that let me know their tracking info the fuku numbers should be between 296000 and 297000. My assumption based on less reliable stuff is the window is closer to 296200-296900. The higher your reference number the more likely that you were extra lucky and bought a fuku that wasn't supposed to be for sale.
@MEHcus if you are really desperate for those overruns, I wouldn't be too upset if my fuku was just a botvac 85... just trying to help you out here bud :)
@rockabettygirl near the very end of that range? My range estimate could be off by 100 or so... but any further than that means that the reference numbers don't work how I think they do and I have no idea if they can tell how fast people ordered.
@metaphore I'm really not sure that the reference number correlates to when the order was placed. I got shirts the night before with my account and my husband's. Placed my order first, then his. However, his order has a lower reference number.
ETA: Also, I ordered the shirts early on (at 12:01 and 12:03) and our numbers are in the 5700 range. I know more than 300 were ordered after us.
@PurplePawprints You're probably right. I only had a few reference numbers to go off of to make my assumption, and was waiting for enough other people to have numbers that either support or disprove the theory that the reference number is a sequential count of all orders placed at meh.
@YahSah15 It was mentioned in the periscope streams thursday(which are apparently expired now). @matthew was asked why there was 620 and @dave answered for him, that the server let in some extra passed the 500 intended cut off. @MEHcus also mentioned it in his fuku sneak peak stream.
@bruinscbr Not really. If you have a fedex account you can find the tracking there as soon as a label is created. That's where everyone here is getting their tracking from. Meh will send you the tracking number when it actually ships, next week sometime.
Mine is still in the processing phase as well. Based on our careful science, I might be in the oversold lot. Maybe @mehcus can tell us if the first 500 have already gone out, while the remaining 119 are being reconstituted (apparently from broken glass and paper bags).
@ACraigL nope they are all mixed together. Most made it out yesterday but we are taking our time to make the rest extra terrible so they won't ship until Monday.
@MEHcus Hurrah for extra terrible! What was the type of cookie you mentioned in the periscope? The one that guarantees interview success? Will they help with Fuku content success too? :)
@MEHcus Since Monday's my birthday, (a BIG one, too), and my order is still processing, I will be happy with my belated birthday gift whenever it arrives. Don't know why I'm so excited about it . . . maybe it's all about the mystery.
@juststephen - Thanks. Are you insinuating 75 is old? Ha - maybe I'll be brave enough to say after a couple of birthday drinks. grabs walker and hobbles away.
My Fuku is still processing, so I guess it's one of the EXTRA CRAPPY Fukus! Will it have a Sphero for Galen, now that he's alive and whole again, out of the veterinary ICU and feeling fine? 365 Meh's to celebrate the #1 birthday on the internets? I could use a crappy car, seeing as an uninsured driver totaled mine the other week... jk. Maybe it will be nothing but a bunch of Texas Air?
Not to be daunted by the "PROCESSING" message, I headed over to FedEx.com to poke around. Lo and behold, the delivery manager reveals a package coming from Carrolton, Tx. However, since I sometimes order things from that OTHER site as well, there was still a chance that it's nothing Meh. Clicking on that tracking number, however, reveals that there is a label, and the Purchase Order # is narcissistic-spotless-boron! My Meh may still be in the mediocre warehouse, but it's got a label! So, I'm pretty sure at a MINIMUM I'll be getting $5 worth of mediocre Texas air (mmmm, stinky).
@joelmw I doubt I'd like the taxes on a car, but seeing as mine was totaled 3 weeks ago, I think I would welcome the embarrassment of scoring big with this first Fuku...
Still, Things could have been worse. Friends thought I was paranoid to make my dog wear a seatbelt harness. It probably saved his life, as the hit was $50mph, ricocheted off the culprit vehicle, went down a 40 ft. deep embankment, through a fence, and into a house. Now all my friends with dogs are getting harnesses as well, so some good at least came of it (the poor homeowner has $17K of damage, though, my own car was totaled, and the person responsible was uninsured. REALLY pisses me off).
And fortunately, as my pup is training as a service dog, he was with me at work when he developed the hemorrhagic gastroenteritis symptoms, which allowed me to get him to the vet in time to save his life. Had he been at home like a normal dog, it may have been too late by the time I got home from work.
But... He got well, both of us survived the wreck with only scrapes and bruises (and me with a concussion), more dogs are now wearing seat belts, and ta few days after his recovery, I got my first Fuku. Winning the Onkyo finished up the week as icing on the cake (I'm taking suggestions for good causes/contests to donate my old Onkyo to, a TX-SR333 5.1 A/V system w/ Bluetooth, HDMI, etc, less than 1-year-old).
@CircaRigel Dang. Glad you're both okay. Sorry for the hassles. My stepson recently got t-boned (and his truck totaled) by someone who ran a red light. She finally seems to have acknowledged fault, but her insurance company is being a little difficult. Hope you're able to work out something good on the vehicle front (I use transit 99% of the time, but I know I missed having the option when we were down two vehicles). Congrats on the receiver. I am really loving mine.
@joelmw My bicycle used to be my chosen transportation, but unfortunately I can't ride much anymore... high winds blew me off a mountain 3 years ago (Mount Evans, highest paved road in N. America), and I ended up with quite a few spine fractures in my neck and upper back after the 30 ft. fall, among other injuries, hence the service dog. Again, could be worse, though. I'm alive, and can still walk, and have a great dog learning to help me out now.
@joelmw It's all about perspective. Dwell on the bad and life will be bad, but that's not any fun. There is always a flip side to every coin. Life is good.
I'm in the 'processing' boat still, too. I'm rather jealous seeing the goodies that went out with the ones shipped early. They look like a fun mix of stuff. I have a feeling the second batch will be a little less eclectic.
@PurplePawprints Tell you what - after it is delivered, leave the box permanently closed and you'll have the best damn fuku ever given away. Now you can stop feeling jealous.
How often can we continue to check to see if the the "processing" has changed to "shipped" before it becomes categorized as a neurosis. It doesn't help that Woot has me searching for those stupid weapons that DON'T exist. Grrrrrr.....
How many here have been to the revel thread? I'm staying away but it's sooooooo tempting.
As for my fuku, both husband and I managed to somehow snag one and so far, all the shipping and stuff is the same. 3 pounds, 10x10x10, sitting someone in Mississippi on their way to Florida.
@Nexar Yup, am familiar with the place card dimensions. Husband's has finally gone to Atlanta and now has a new size. Mine sits in Mississippi. Our shirts were also traveling together until they hit Mississippi. His has moved on to Atlanta.
Mine shipped Friday, due to arrive tomorrow and still has the placeholder. Weird. I hope I didn't get 1in cubes. At least I can post a new reveal tomorrow!
Pretty sure processing means that @mediocrebot is out collecting used stuff from around headquarters to fill the remaining fuku bags. This is gonna be good!
Finally remembered how to check FedEx tracker, and now I know that my number was 2963xx, and it has not yet shipped. I was early, because I only had to insist I was not a robot twice. Am I happy or terrified that it's still processing? The answer is yes, emphatically.
Me too. Leave it to the goofballs at Meh to send a "your meh.com order of Fukubukuro 5: #MehDay has shipped" email message at 3:15 a.m. -- as if they thought someone might be monitoring her Inbox in the middle of the night to see if the Fuku had shipped. But narrow-precipitous-turkey is on its way, albeit with placeholders of 10x10x10 inches & 3 lbs.
@sohmageek Unsure. Mine still says processing and the fedex delivery manager hasnt moved from "label created". The wife got her tracking yesterday but ive been in the dark...concerned.
@studerc Well... I can't get the fedex delivery manager... I always worry about a pallet showing up at work... On one hand some may freak out... on another my boss always asks what came in the box... just easier to open it with him there :P
@sohmageek Yea...the delivery manager is super nice but since things havent updated i wonder if Meh put in a false label to conceal the true size. Ill be going on vacation for a week on Thursday so im hoping that the post office will be able to hold any packages that come through.
@studerc Hey bud, mine just shipped... Wait... Vacation. Haven't you been teasing us about the exchange.... ;) At this point I'm taking bets on which will happen first, your goat prize or the exchange ;)
I hope you enjoy your vacation! Stress free ok? :) Also Post office will hold for a week without notification, if you notify them to hold packages/mail they will do it for up to 30 days.
Shipped! Delivery 7/21. No dimensions yet. I'm excited and sad at the same time because I will be out of town and I will have to wait until August to open it. The anticipation may kill me.
Dimensions 10x10x10 in. Purchase order number shady-punitive-love Service FedEx SmartPost Weight 3 lbs / 1.36 kgs Total pieces 1 Packaging Package expected delivery MonDAY 7/20/15
@UgaDogCH I don't know if that would be good or not... I mean, I ship it to work, Granted the boxes have come in handy as I've been recycling them to ship things out, And I need to get some more boxes to ship some... stuff... Oh shit, tomorrow's Wednesday... Also Tmobile says it's going to show up tomorrow but it hasn't been picked up by UPS... so Stranger things have happened...
Finally saw a shipping email for my 3-lb mesmerizing-unfriendly-rifle. How they can get that into a 10x10x10 box is a mystery to me. I suppose it's "some assembly required." I will find out on Monday.
Got mine yesterday. At first I was disappointed because all I was seeing was kids' stuff (I don't have any), but it improved, and the last item I pulled out was a nice surprise . . .
Usual Fukubukuro bag
Some goofy fold-it--yourself Meh cheerleader-type megaphone (I think)
Vinyl Nickelodeon lunch bag
Two Alice in Wonderland journal sets
Jolly Rancher messenger bag
Insteon WiFi Camera
AOC 23" LED monitor (may be open box or refurbished because there is some tape that is no intact)
Thanks, Meh. My monitor just crapped and at the very least this one should hold me over until I can figure out what I want too buy.
@rrichmon Just realized that number 2 is a party hat, not a cheerleader bullhorn thingy (clearly the no kids thing played into my idiocy). Makes more sense -- Happy Birthday, Meh!
Husband got his today and it's got some very nice shit! Mine is still at it's place marker size and is out there floating around Mississippi I guess. I checked out the reveal thread and all I can say is, "Wow!" Can hardly wait for mine!
@el_bandolero007 Yeah, I was reading about all the 28 pounders and though mine on the light side. Heavy does not = good... I've avoided spoilers entirely to this point, so I really have no idea. Mine is due to arrive tomorrow, so I'll need to sweat it out a bit longer. Good luck with yours!
@ACraigL Mine just updated to 28.4 lbs. The reveal thread is calling me but I must resist. My last Fuko I got excited by the size but got a broken tv! It's hilarious that Meh would ship me a broken tv. I love the shit out of all of this! My wife doesn't get it...
Took 4 days to get from Memphis to Atlanta (how is it even physically possible to be that slow?), and has been in the Atlanta smart post stop thing doing nothing for the past 2 days. Yayyyyyyy.
@Nexar Does the status say "Shipment information sent to U.S. Postal Service"? Fedex usually loses insight into what's happening after that, in my experience.
@sligett@Nexar More often than not, I get the USPS updates included in the fedex tracking. However, someone below reminded me of putting "92" in front of the smartpost # in order to get the USPS tracking, and that worked for me.
OMG, mine is in Memphis and the dimensions and weight have changed (22x16x15 in. and 12.6 lbs). It's scheduled for Saturday, delivery. My first fuku and can't wait....
Mine arrived at the post office this afternoon, but I wasn’t allowed to pick it up since it hadn’t been sorted yet, and won’t be until tomorrow morning. I should have taken Tiff’s Treats as a bribe.
@editorkid I'm in Illinois. Mine was in Dongola as well. (Never knew there was a Dongola, IL.) Now it's in Berlin, WI. I kinda feel like I'm tracking Flat Stanley's travels.
Mine just took a concerning step. Been stuck 1 state away since Monday morning, and now the status has been shifted to "No estimated delivery date available at this time." Hopefully just a truck with a stuck door and not a lost package.
@narfcake Nope, stuck in NJ. However, the problem seems to have solved itself. Today it has updated that it is out for delivery. I guess Fedex was just slow in updating.
36x16x13 28.7lbs. OMG. My cranky mailman is going to flip out. Let's hope my sister is the sub on his route when it arrives, sort of nice getting personalized notes on my mail from time to time. I <3 my sister the mail lady! Delivery slated for Saturday... I usually get smart post a day early. My boyfriend is slightly more than intrigued after dimensions updated. He could never be a Mehtizen though, he doesn't get the irony of Fuku. I may not let him touch the box!
For my package, the estimated delivery date changed from 7/15 to "No estimated delivery date available at this time" and the last activity was arriving at a FedEx facility Sunday evening, so I called FedEx this morning. They acknowledged tracking issues, then put 92 in front of the SmartPost number and used USPS tracking. It is out for delivery TODAY!
My fuku has finally moved, and moved in a really weird way. Now remember, this thing is going to the Florida panhandle. Left Dallas on Saturday Spent Monday bouncing around Mississippi, between 2 small towns. Tuesday it went to Fort Worth Wednesday returned to yet another small town in Mississippi And supposedly arrived in Atlanta early Thursday morning. It's still at the holding weight and size. Delivery is supposed to be Monday. I have a bad feeling that it's been pretty fucked up on it's journey.
@Teripie Maybe you got a rogue Sphero that's been broadcasting instead of receiving commands? I'll bet that could really screw with the handheld scanners. Talk about fake ID; it's probably been hitchhiking all over, just because it can. We await the unveiling with more than usual interest. It might jump out at you.
My fuku arrived to meh house today!! I ran home from work to retrieve it (since packages delivered to meh house have a tendency to disappear if they can be seen from the street) The contents were beyond meh-tastic! Thank you meh!
Not only did I end up with an Onkyo receiver and other amazing toys, but I also received a wireless camera - which I can now use deter package thiefs and to monitor the delivery of meh packages!!
This was the exact opposite of yesterday's #PrimeDay. From meh, I was expecting the unsold garbage that wouldn't sell. Instead, I received gifts that made the meh-tiverse feel right again!
Yesterday was #PrimeDayFail. Today is #MehtizenWin !!
All aquiver with impatience now. My humorous-surprised-package finally, after two checkpoints, grew out of its default proportions to a more adult size. Now it's 22x16x16", and a fascinating 16.8 lbs, and it's due here Tuesday. Maybe. I am earnestly trying not to jump to the reveal thread, because wild speculation is more fun than informed deduction. It's in Orlando, along with my air purifier. Maybe they'll stop off at the Mouse.
Yesterday at noon it was an hour and a half away. Since then, it doesn't call, it doesn't write, and it doesn't update its stats. Fuku is taunting me. I'm just going to act like I'm indifferent. How am I doing?
Maybe it's foolish, but without an accurate weight clue I'm still hoping for a monitor.
@KDemo I think my SO's fuku is stuck on the same truck as yours. Sat in Kent all day after taking a day and a half to get there from Vancouver. Delivery date got pushed back another day. Another 3 days to go the last 20 miles. He's mad mine got here so much faster even though he got his purchase in before me.
@metaphore Yes, must have been on the same truck. Local post office is good- if it gets there early they'll usually deliver the same day, Still says it's in Kent, though.
@KDemo We have at least 3 regular portal carriers that make deliveries to our building. One of them is good, one of them is awful. The post office will get stuff out for delivery within a day most the time, but depending on which person get the package it can end up sitting in the mail truck for a few days. Like with my fuku, my shirt and fuku were on the same truck all the way from meh, went out for delivery the same time at the same day, the shirt got delivered, the fuku was too much trouble so it sat on the truck and the weekend carrier had to deal with it.
@KDemo Mine never updated, and then was a huge box, 12x24x30 and probably a little over 10 lbs. SO's got dimensions when leaving Dallas, 18x16x16 and 9.6lbs.
finally updated 22x16x15 in. 18.4 lbs, won't be in by the great lakes until Monday?>!! I don't even remember when I got this! I'm not returning here until i do my unboxing, first fukumehbuku so im out! BBL!
I can't remember my neighbor's names, and yet I can flawlessly type in my 8 place randomly generated Fedex account number. Should arrive this afternoon!
@sammydog01 I can't get a fedex account because it tells me I am not me. I know whom it thinks I am, but I am not she.. It sucks to have the same name as four other people in the tri-city area. I haven't counted the number in the state.. :(
@mikibell I had the same problem with alllllll the shipping companies. Are you married? If you have a spouse, or at least another adult living in your house, have them sign up. Then, list your name as one of their 'alternate' name variations. That's how I was finally able to get around the verification issues.
The tracking gods are toying with me. First it said it would be here Monday, then it got changed to Tuesday, now FedEx says Wednesday and USPS says Thursday. I'm dyin' over here. Weight shows as 23.1 lbs and measurements are 22x16x16 in.
Well, there were so few.
(Can't wait for mine! But I'll avoid this thread because spoilers.)
@editorkid Yours will be filled with brown paper bags, don't worry.
@MEHcus You should step it up the second time. Put TWO pennies in.
@MEHcus I'm thinking 119 of them will be filled with brown paper bags...
@Starblind With some long philosophical rant that ends with "That's just my two cents"
@Thumperchick If I said I was still scrambling around trying to figure out if that is true or not I wouldn't exactly be lying.
@MEHcus The write-up mentioned "tweaks to make it more aggravating" to get one. Was that in reference to a smaller quantity offered or was it about server improvements?
@medz All of the above?
@MEHcus Is there going to be an OHSHIT! report on the oversale of the fukus? I'm actually just curious why that may have happened.
But ...
@MEHcus Ah. Thanks for that. Almost a 20% oversell. Yikes!
@MEHcus Can you tell what people shouldn't of gotten one? I'm just curious if I'm good* (1st 500) or just lucky (#501-619)...
By good I mean lucky also.
@MrMark If I really wanted to, yeah, I'm sure I could. But that requires effort. Effort is hard.
@MrMark and really, do you think that they could/would/should tell 119 people - oh hey guys, we totes f'd up... so here's a refund! (yikes.)
@MEHcus Maybe you could ask people if they're cool deferring for a month. Get enough people to hold out and you get time to scramble a neat fuku experience for the 119 overages.
@Thumperchick @mehcus I would be good to wait another month...
@MrMark Based on the reference number on your tracking information you should be able to have an idea of if you were good or not.
Based on the my own number and the numbers from people that let me know their tracking info the fuku numbers should be between 296000 and 297000.

The higher your reference number the more likely that you were extra lucky and bought a fuku that wasn't supposed to be for sale.
@metaphore Interesting..Mine is in the 296000-296100 Range. So I'm going to go with that I'm Good* :)
@MEHcus Effort is the worst!
@metaphore I'm in the upper category: 2962xx. I regret nothing.
@MrMark You're probably one of the firsts. And more reliably narrows the fuku range to around 296000-296700
@metaphore My reference number is greater than 296000 but less than 296010, I must be really good.
@MEHcus if you are really desperate for those overruns, I wouldn't be too upset if my fuku was just a botvac 85... just trying to help you out here bud :)
How do you tell ur reference number? Mine was sliced whitey chipmonk. Did i win or get lucky?
@metaphore mine is in the 295000 range
@rockabettygirl near the very end of that range? My range estimate could be off by 100 or so... but any further than that means that the reference numbers don't work how I think they do and I have no idea if they can tell how fast people ordered.
@metaphore I'm really not sure that the reference number correlates to when the order was placed. I got shirts the night before with my account and my husband's. Placed my order first, then his. However, his order has a lower reference number.

@ACraigL Where did you see something about oversale or reference to the number 500?
@metaphore my order number is 2965xx. Guess I got lucky and with a tail-end-charlie order.
@metaphore it is toward the end.
@YahSah15 Mehcus mentioned it during one of the periscope live streams.
@metaphore I've got a 295xxx number so I think it may not correlate exactly. I'm sure it has a little to do with it.
@metaphore Mine is 2959XX
I didn't get a notice, but it shows up in FedEx Delivery Manager (Also 3Lbs). My shirt is also in the same status.
@lichme +1
@lichme LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICH!!!
@lichme Same here.
@carl669 Caaaaaaaaaaaarl
@lichme Probably the placeholder weight, as usual. same as the 10x10x10 placeholder size.
its always 3lbs until it gets to the first smartpost warehouse, then it updates to correct weight and size
I also have a shipping label in fedex. That was fast!
None here yet. It's just a label though - they're still sitting in the warehouse.
Uh oh.. I did not get a tracking number. Was I supposed to?
@bruinscbr Not really. If you have a fedex account you can find the tracking there as soon as a label is created. That's where everyone here is getting their tracking from. Meh will send you the tracking number when it actually ships, next week sometime.
@bruinscbr nope. fokus take a notoriously long time to ship, it just means your shipping label hasnt printed yet.
Mine still says Processing. Hubby earned extra bonus points for staying up and snagging one while I was sleeping.
No tracking yet for me but I did get taking in the shirts. Pretty excited for that too :D
Caring-Cheap-Surprise... Ahhhhhh... now that is darn cute! 3 Lbs of embarrassing random fun on the way.
Got my tracking email a couple of hours ago. FedEx shows it "Arrived at FedEx location" at 8:41PM today.
My narcissistic-spotless-boron still says it's processing... still waiting for it to ship.
Good grief, mine is already at the local post office!
@parodymandotcom ditto. Was surprised to see mine already says out for delivery. Of course, it also says estimated delivery on Monday...
@parodymandotcom And now the status is "out for delivery". That was so fast, I'm expecting a box full of packing material and nothing else.
@parodymandotcom What's in the box!!!!
@whistlingwilly Hasn't arrived yet. If it does (and I'm assuming it will), there will be unboxing photos tonight!
@parodymandotcom -You might start a new thread for unboxings when the time comes.
@MEHcus Extra terrible.... nice. Can't wait. Have a great weekend, man.
@MEHcus Oh crap, mine is still in processing ;)
@MEHcus It takes extra time to turn the trash can upside down over the shipping boxes?
@MEHcus Hurrah for extra terrible! What was the type of cookie you mentioned in the periscope? The one that guarantees interview success? Will they help with Fuku content success too? :)
@MEHcus Since Monday's my birthday, (a BIG one, too), and my order is still processing, I will be happy with my belated birthday gift whenever it arrives.
Don't know why I'm so excited about it . . . maybe it's all about the mystery.
@parodymandotcom @MEHcus Maybe just box the whole trash can next time!
@narfcake - Dunnage protecting dunnage?
@KDemo Pretty much, though seeing how much some trash cans go for, I think the contents are the dunnage.
My fuku is still processing. I just hope that it won't magically turn into a fuko over the weekend...
@KDemo 75? Dun dun dun. Just kidding. Happy birthday.
@ACraigL Extra terrible here too. Maybe they had to break more glasses so every one could have some.
@juststephen - Thanks. Are you insinuating 75 is old? Ha - maybe I'll be brave enough to say after a couple of birthday drinks.
grabs walker and hobbles away.
@KDemo Happy Birthday! July birthdays rock, mines on friday.
7/17 sounds lucky. Happy @nodnetni day!
@KDemo Happy BIG birthday, too.
@KDemo Happy, happy birthday with much purple happiness for you!
@Barney @gertiestn, Thank you, I really don't feel a day older than yesterday :).
The reveals are already in process, but here's my tracking info for comparison purposes. As usual, the weight and dimensions aren't close to accurate.
Grrrr... still processing! Here's to hoping mine is too large to ship by post!

However, since I sometimes order things from that OTHER site as well, there was still a chance that it's nothing Meh. Clicking on that tracking number, however, reveals that there is a label, and the Purchase Order # is narcissistic-spotless-boron! My Meh may still be in the mediocre warehouse, but it's got a label! So, I'm pretty sure at a MINIMUM I'll be getting $5 worth of mediocre Texas air (mmmm, stinky).
@CircaRigel Y'all are probably getting cars or something. Won't you be embarrassed then.
@CircaRigel Ugh. Sorry that happened. Glad for the good stuff. Service dogs are awesome.

@Pavlov
@thismyusername @Pavlov
Mine is an Alabama, with the default weight/size. Scheduled to get here Wednesday.
Still processing. Grrrr. I hate waiting this long to wait for my disappointment.
@ACraigL I thought the wait was part of the fun. It gives you time to dream.
@ACraigL
@carl669 Bloodbath and beyond. Lulz.
@carl669 So Texas.
@ACraigL You don't have to wait to wait. You can start waiting right now.
Finally! Mine shipped, due Friday. NOW I can start waiting. Man, that wait to wait was painfully slow.
How often can we continue to check to see if the the "processing" has changed to "shipped" before it becomes categorized as a neurosis. It doesn't help that Woot has me searching for those stupid weapons that DON'T exist. Grrrrrr.....
@rhcurry02 twice a day. after that, seek professional help.
@carl669 I check my fuku for dimensions at least twenty times a day.
@rhcurry02 - Did status change yet? No? How about now? . . . . NOW???
Proud member of the "processing" group.
@Teripie I have. Not too shabby for the two or three reveals so far.
@Teripie If I've managed to order a Fuku, I go over to the reveal thread, but if I haven't got one, I just avoid it to keep myself from feeling worse.
@Teripie that's the place holder data in case you didn't know :).
It's what it usually states till it gets to the first smart post stop.
@Teripie Staying far away. I always avoid if I can. I don't even have any weights/dimensions yet, but it's supposed to arrive Friday.
@Nexar Yup, am familiar with the place card dimensions. Husband's has finally gone to Atlanta and now has a new size. Mine sits in Mississippi. Our shirts were also traveling together until they hit Mississippi. His has moved on to Atlanta.
I have a fattie. 28.7 lb!
35x17x14 in.
Consider me curious or intrigued!
@juststephen Not both? At that weight I'd be curious and intrigued!
@juststephen 31lbs! Don't remember my dimensions but I think it's a bit smaller.
@juststephen FedEx sometimes doesn't tell the truth about size. Or weight, Or times.
@OldCatLady Sounds like match.com
@KDemo I want the little dinosaurs from that cubicle
@sammydog01 - I'd be really happy with one of those macbooks, but @mediocrebot seems mostly into coffee cups and water bottles.
Wait - isn't Irk a resident of HQ? Dibs!
mine is still processing as well...sigh...
I'm hoping that mine gets on the road tomorrow, but I know it'll take a while to make those vinyl wall-clings of @JonT wearing nothing but a teddy
Holy fuku, batman! Mine's a few days away, but the weight/dimensions updated
23.4 lbs 31x25x13 in.
@Thumperchick - You are probably getting extra confetti. Hope they save enough for me.
@Thumperchick WOW. That's heavy, man.
Finally remembered how to check FedEx tracker, and now I know that my number was 2963xx, and it has not yet shipped. I was early, because I only had to insist I was not a robot twice. Am I happy or terrified that it's still processing? The answer is yes, emphatically.
It used to take so much longer to ship these, sometimes a week or two. I say we're all still way ahead of the game.
My. Order. Just. Shipped. Hooray!!!
My orders shows my fuku has shipped. I get a blank stare from FedEx. I'll have to learn how to get more info from FedEx.
Oh boy! I bet I get a box of spare parts for my drones! And confetti and Texas air. I haven't had any Texas air since we moved away in 1964.
@sligett Oh, they now show me that it's "3 lbs" and 10x10x10 and will arrive in 2017 or so. :-)
@sligett It's now at GUILFORD TWP, PA
@sligett Mine left Dallas, TX at 5:08 am today! :(
@mikibell Wow - it must be one of the last? Does it have far to go?
@sligett Good news. Mine's now departed ALLENTOWN, PA
It should be just three business days away based on previous orders. Other details have been updated:
Reference 296278
Dimensions 22x16x15 in.
Purchase order # tainted-ostentatious-river

raging-graphic-cleric just shipped last night. It's still 10x10x10, 3 lb, though.
designed-packed-wool was part of the 2nd batch of fukus this round. Shipped last night: 22x16x16 at 12.9 pounds.
Still no shippy...best for last maybe. Anyone else have thiers say it is from checkout.org?
@zsmasher Same here, not shipped. Checkout.org is another branch of Mediocre.
Still processing here. bounce bounce bounce Can't come back because spoilers... I already saw too much here with the dimensions and the weights.
My lopsided-operatic-hydra is still processing too. Brace for disappointment!
Shipped :)
My legible-fastidious-sister is still processing too. Hoping to see that change soon!
Shipped! Yay!
Mine got delayed a day. It's two days out, now, according to the estimate, and it still has the default size + weight.
Mine finally shipped. Same placeholder weight as the rest.
Mine shipped too. Here's hoping it wasn't week old leftovers from the fridge
Just got my email as well.
Well Jesus fuck...still processing.
@studerc looks like yours is the most mediocre of all
@studerc Maybe they are getting us baby things???? Did you get the last one and was it delayed also?
@studerc Dont feel bad im still processing
@studerc still processing here as well...no signs of life from fedex either... =/

Ah! Mine just shipped but I'll be out of town when it's in. Won't know the contents for another week!
Mine shipped today.... just placeholder dimensions so far.
Just received the email & finally out of processing purgatory! Now the wait for Saturday begins...
@UgaDogCH Saturday? I've got to wait 8 more days... :( Are you in central time zone or east coast?
@sohmageek I'm in Georgia. You never know though, yours might be king sized on a pallet or something crazy to take that long
@UgaDogCH I don't know if that would be good or not...
@sohmageek @UgaDogCH Mine is scheduled for the 21st - a week is about average for my meh orders.
mine finally as well... =)
Finally saw a shipping email for my 3-lb mesmerizing-unfriendly-rifle. How they can get that into a 10x10x10 box is a mystery to me. I suppose it's "some assembly required." I will find out on Monday.
@medonsw 3 lb 10x10x10 is the default placeholder- everyone gets that at first, then the package changes to its true dimensions & weight later on.
@dashcloud Yes, I know.
Anyone else showing a 7/20 date for their delivery?
@dashcloud 7/20 here
@dashcloud 7/21 here for my animated-military-bulb. East coast, meh.
@dashcloud - 7/21 Left Coast.
@dashcloud 7/22 VT here....
@dashcloud 7/18 here along the Rocky Mountains.
@dashcloud 7/20
shipped and due Tuesday

Got mine yesterday. At first I was disappointed because all I was seeing was kids' stuff (I don't have any), but it improved, and the last item I pulled out was a nice surprise . . .
Mine shipped last night! Whee!
Husband got his today and it's got some very nice shit! Mine is still at it's place marker size and is out there floating around Mississippi I guess.
I checked out the reveal thread and all I can say is, "Wow!"
Can hardly wait for mine!
It's supposed to get here tomorrow, and it still has the default size. Curious.
36x16x14 in.
17.3 Lbs
Due Monday
30x24x13 in.
17.6 lbs
Due Today!
Mine finally updated too! Small by comparison, maybe? But WAY bigger than I would have expected.
22x16x16 in. 16.4 lbs.
Says due Friday, but sometimes I get these a day early (I live a block from my post office). Woooooo!
@ACraigL Oh don't complain, I have a 5.4 pounder coming my way. 16.4 pounds, huh!
@ACraigL High hopes for my first Fuku. Mines isn't due until Monday. Fingers crossed, good luck!
Current state of my fuku:
Took 4 days to get from Memphis to Atlanta (how is it even physically possible to be that slow?), and has been in the Atlanta smart post stop thing doing nothing for the past 2 days. Yayyyyyyy.
@Nexar Does the status say "Shipment information sent to U.S. Postal Service"? Fedex usually loses insight into what's happening after that, in my experience.
@sligett @Nexar More often than not, I get the USPS updates included in the fedex tracking. However, someone below reminded me of putting "92" in front of the smartpost # in order to get the USPS tracking, and that worked for me.
@sligett nope. Normally what happens is they ship it out at 2-4 am, then bring it to my local post office end its out for delivery by 7am.
Currently it's been in Atlanta for nearly 4 days, alongside the meh shirts which have been in Atlanta probably nearly a week now.
My box's dimensions updated; 22x16x16, and weighing 18.7 pounds. I hope it's something cool.
Mine is still in Mississippi. Argh! Supposedly been there since Sunday. And it's still at the place holding weight and size. Double Argh!
@Teripie Hey I am in MS. I'll take it off your hands for you LOL
I'm happy to report that I have a package in Dongola.
@editorkid Me too. I hope they're breeders.
@editorkid I'm in Illinois. Mine was in Dongola as well. (Never knew there was a Dongola, IL.) Now it's in Berlin, WI. I kinda feel like I'm tracking Flat Stanley's travels.
@Alien @pitamuffin I hope someday Dongola becomes to the Midwest what Nantucket's been to the Northeast in the famous poem about that girl from there.
Mine has decided it likes PA and doesn't want to leave. I has a sad.
@Thumperchick It's a big state, give it time?
@Thumperchick Maybe I confiscated it!
Mine just took a concerning step. Been stuck 1 state away since Monday morning, and now the status has been shifted to "No estimated delivery date available at this time." Hopefully just a truck with a stuck door and not a lost package.
@Raider Perchance is it stuck in Casa Grande, AZ?
18x16x15 in., 6.6 lbs.
Left Dallas on Saturday
Spent Monday bouncing around Mississippi, between 2 small towns.
Tuesday it went to Fort Worth
Wednesday returned to yet another small town in Mississippi
And supposedly arrived in Atlanta early Thursday morning.
It's still at the holding weight and size.
Delivery is supposed to be Monday.
I have a bad feeling that it's been pretty fucked up on it's journey.
@Teripie Sounds about right.
My fuku finally updated its dimensions when it landed in my city 10 minutes ago.. 22x16x15 and 19.5 pounds.
Now I'm getting all hyped up for tomorrow, and I may have been searching the fuku threads for similar box sizes and weights..
@andrd Yeah mine got updated about an hour ago. I am 31x24x12 in. and 20 lbs.
18x16x15, 6.4lbs. Almost certain I got a sphero or ollie. My sister in law, on the other hand, has either bricks, a roomba, a monitor, or a receiver.
@telepheedian Might have gotten the citizen watch too.
Anyone else with a Fuku in Phoenix, on its way to WA due 7/21? Last time, we had a few travelling on the same truck.
Still default stats.
@KDemo Im in phoenix, out for delivery today!
Now in Klamath Falls, OR, headed north on 97. Still due Tuesday, still default stats.
Scanned in Troutdale, now passing through Vancouver. Still default stats.
Arrrghh. Lumbered right past my house to Kent, delivery pushed back a day, and still 3 lbs.
The saga continues.
@KDemo You should have set up a roadblock for that truck, preferably one made out of speaker docks.
@Trillian Why didn't I think of that? Next time, for sure (If there is a next time)
@KDemo I think my SO's fuku is stuck on the same truck as yours.
@metaphore - Did the size and weight ever update on his? Mine could still be anything. Your knives are one of the top things I would hope for.
@KDemo Mine never updated, and then was a huge box, 12x24x30 and probably a little over 10 lbs. SO's got dimensions when leaving Dallas, 18x16x16 and 9.6lbs.
@metaphore - Out for delivery, date estimate changed back to today. Still default stats.
Hope you get the good carrier this time!
Updated to 18X16X15 7.2 lbs. Now I wish I had never looked at the reveal thread.
finally updated 22x16x15 in. 18.4 lbs, won't be in by the great lakes until Monday?>!! I don't even remember when I got this! I'm not returning here until i do my unboxing, first fukumehbuku so im out! BBL!
Dimensions finally updated. 14x11x10 and 4.6lbs. Good things come in small packages...?
@potter412 Wee? Oui. Whee!
Holy shit! It's a Fuku miracle- my package is set to be delivered this Saturday (two days earlier than the tracking originally said)!
Anticipation for my utter disappointment is growing
@PurplePawprints yes, hubby would do it, you're right! If I had just kept my own darned name, I wouldn't have this problem!
The tracking gods are toying with me. First it said it would be here Monday, then it got changed to Tuesday, now FedEx says Wednesday and USPS says Thursday. I'm dyin' over here. Weight shows as 23.1 lbs and measurements are 22x16x16 in.
