I was on a vacation and not really net-connected when the Zero-Day happened, so missed out on the shirt. Did the kickstarter though!
I was super lucky I bought the shirt using airport wifi just before boarding. But didn't click meh! There's always something you forget.
I don't suppose there is any means to track our fuku? My post office is a level of crappy well beyond the expected level of crappy for any post office. Quite frankly I may never see it. They don't even bother leaving attempted delivery slips 80% of the time.

Mine just showed up at the office today. Apparently they tried to deliver Saturday but since our office is closed no dice.
Someone coined it the "fuck you Buckaroo bag". I really think this should be the generally accepted term for the bags until someone comes up with something awesome.

@RogerWilco you can also try setting up a shipment alert on the Fedex site, as @capguncowboy talks about below.
If you set up shipment alerts on Fedex site (free by the way), you can see all incoming packages to your address. Mine shows everything that Meh has sent me. I was able to click and find that my FuckYouBuckaroo weights 2 lbs in a 9x9x9 box.
I have an account, and have my address set up, but it never shows me any shipments. Asks for an account # when I try to get notifications.

Unfortunately my address is a UPS store and they only allow you to set up residential addresses.
They will not take PO Boxes either. Weird since it is a valid address even in the not so smart system.
Stupid FedEx site won't verify me- the questions are all about people and phone numbers that I've never heard of. Urgh.

I was able to register and initially it showed no shipments to my address. Then I refreshed about an hour later, and it showed me a 9 x 9 x 9, 2 lb Kickmeh due to be delivered tomorrow. Pretty cool, I had no idea that this was an option!

My fuku arrived today. The highlight was an utterly crushed utensil caddy. The shipping box was pristine,so I assume it was busted like this when it was put into my box. 5 pairs of reading glasses are Meh, this busted ceramic takes me to a as-yet-undefined adjective of disinterest. I wasn't expecting much from Mediocre Labs, but I wasn't prepared for something this bad.

I so wanted one of those. I wanted one from the first day I heard that such a thing existed (honestly, before; I'm forward-thinking in my laziness). I could never justify it even in my easily persuaded mind. You get me, meh, you really get me.
So when we first opened the package and I saw the Roomba box, I thought two things: either 1) it's just gag packing material or 2) holy shit, I hope I didn't accidentally order that; she'll never believe me.

Hi! Yep, we had to temporarily take the old topic down while we figure out the specifics of that forum trouble that happened earlier.
I think we coded the forum to assume you'd all be more disappointed and down about what you got, so the code was a little confused at some people seeming happy. Or at least that's my understanding of it, but I'm not exactly fluent in database.
I believe we'll be able to get the other fuku topic back up soon-ish, and at that point I'd love it if anyone who posted in here would copy their post over there so we can have one central Fukubukuro Kickstarter topic. We might even kill this one, just to avoid confusion from future archaeologists trying to discern what happened here.

You have to sign up for an account (free) on Fedex's site. Then click "manage my deliveries", answer some questions and hope it works!

So not totally Meh. Spongebob is the penultimate cartoon representation of evil, outdoing Dr. Doom and the evil Aku. Even zombie monkeys fear him so he will ward the secure lab. I can use the playing cards to practice throwing at targets like little pasteboard shurikens, and my bag puppet has already discomfited a cat. Its the goggly eyes, I think... little bugger doesn't like them at all.
So you'll have to do better next time. I look forward to not having anything to look forward to.

@brandon, Go to Fedex.com and open an account and track your package. Odds are it won't be worth the effort. Do I sound bitter? No, of course not (cough). My box was pretty meh, though.

I have an idea that could result in making money on all those pairs of reading glasses everyone got in their Fukubukuro boxes. I just happen to know of a deal-a-day start up site that is currently looking to buy some wholesale stock. If we got our reading glasses together we could sell them to that site for maybe a buck apiece. They in turn could offer them up on their website for two or three bucks. We make money, they make money, it’s a win win situation. We get rind of all those glasses and make some money!
Now, does anyone know who is the buyer for www.meh.com?
The hardware store I stopped at today had equivalent reading glasses for $0.98 each; I suspect a buyer would want to pay much much less

So, the post office recommended I refuse the box because it contained some brokenage. I stupidly agreed, but then the better came to me, and I begged and begged the clerk to give to me. She did. I drove home and opened it, maybe there was a key among the carnage? But no, just 5 glasses, the kindle thing and a Wally Amos Chip and Cookie jar (in 179 pieces). This cookie jar was actually signed by Wally himself, #179 of 200! So it was a collectors item after all (see my previous post from yesterday).
So put on the reading glasses, get some glue, get gluing, and sell that collectors item on ebay!!! you can say it is "Vintage Distressed"

I still have not gotten mine yet. I figured out a work around for my FedEx verification issues. Since I was able to get an account verified for my husband, I went into Delivery Manager and added my name as one of his nicknames. It worked! Yay! All of my stuff is now showing up. That is, everything but my fukubukuro. Are you absolutely sure you remembered to ship mine?

It was a fun experience to get a fuku bag so thanks for the funness. Given it took me 9+ years to get a BoC from that other site (and it was much more of a letdown) I'm calling this my one shot at glory. Overall, the experience was meh-tastic.

Well, one of you Meh minions stated that you just threw junk at boxes randomly. Judging from my box, that wasn't universal.

I opened this up at my mail box place, and towards the end the employees were edging away from me slowly.
The Ducati branded iSkin computer bag is really weird. The Ducati branding consists only of the the tag attached to one of the handles. The entire bag (including handles) is made from some sort of thin plastic over padding; the outside looks like one of those quilted jackets, only shiny black. I'm assuming the shopping bag is what the computer bag came in.
Oh, and the box the KnifeBasics knife set came in has a post-it with "Please don't hurt us :(" on it.
Don't think the vitamin cup was standard... Didn't get that, maybe the salt& pepper shaker replaced it? But that's where my bag ended. :(

About the refurb tab... the screen is perfect, boots up to the welcome screen quickly, appears undamaged, but this thing is FUCKED. I'm a guy that is no stranger to the bootload screen and custom ROMs in Android from rooting my devices. Sadly none of this will be able to save the tab from itself. I've factory reset the thing and cleared cache - 3x, and the com.google.whatever error losing the ability to use the keyboard or finish the setup persists! I'm hoping to find a back entrance to fix the firmware, but Samsung doesn't share the firmware for the GT-210R - so I've got one hell of a climb if this thing is ever going to work.
If nothing else, this will test my mobile tech knowledge - and I think I may be up for the challenge. (You Erlenmeyer flask-ers in the forum LMK if this little guy has a name/story for his derpiness and hopefully that'll clue me in to his recovery) Either that or I'll pray that Samsung accepts a receipt for $10 where their product is categorized as...

My box was waiting for me when I got up today. I was surprised by how heavy it was. I live on the third floor, so that's a lot of carrying.
I hate unboxing videos, so once I unloaded it all, I decided to tell the story using pictures instead of word pictures. It looks like we can embed maybe 10 or so pictures in our little comments? Let's find out as the stack starts on top of my bar stool and slowly works its way toward my ceiling.

Loving my Fukabukuro kickstarter. I knew it would be terrible. It was on the label! I did not, however, anticipate a pretty fantastic Wonder Woman photo album, nor a Fozzie coffee cup (which is worth the price alone. where in the world did you get this).
I also scored a Fozzie coffee mug which is making me smile staring at it right now.
I love those mugs. I really wish I had gotten one.

Well, it was pretty meh. No photos. Just the bag and comic, 2 eyes and crayons, 5 pairs of glasses, the buzzing hot dog and a leather case for an Acer tablet. Meh, indeed.

Well, got my box on Saturday, it contained the comic strip, the make your own puppet instructions/bag/eyes, 2 crayons (red & blue), the obligatory 5 pairs of unnecessary reading glasses, the skull-tastic Kindle sleeve, the beef thermometer and the pre-bar code era toy shaving set. It's... okay. I pretty much hate anyone who got the Wonder Woman photo book, but I'm sure it will pass.
Speaking as someone with a backseat full of books from the recycling bin behind Half Price, including more than one Rod McKuen poetry collection, I will say this: meh, you have disappointed a woman who collects garbage, and that is an achievement.

I also finally got mine today. I may not be the very last person, but I've got to be in the last 5 percent I would think. The postoffice apparently held my box hostage for the past week before finally delivering it today. Anyway, my mediocre haul:
- A Targus iPad essentials kit, for 3rd and 4th gen iPads. Looks like it was originally packaged for Sams or Costco, based on the huge cardboard backing. I have an iPad mini, so this does me no good, but hey, could be worse.
- A 16" Built brand laptop sleeve, in a very loud floral pattern. Not my thing, but it's probably worth 5-10 bucks in theory.
- 5 pairs of cheapo readers. I tried on a couple pairs, and they all made my eyesight blurry. Cheap plastic. And why are they made so narrow??
- 2 Matchbox SNL cars, both Weekend Update vans.
- The make your own bag kit, with 2 crayons.
- The comic page.
- A couple random pieces of bubblewrap seemingly thrown into the oversize box as an afterthought. Meh.
So, I didn't get lucky with a tablet or any other electronics, but I can't complain. Was worth the price of admission to play the game.
Got mine the other day. Along with the essentials (crayons, paper bag, comic, reading glasses) was a cow meat thermometer, sunglasses, water bottle, laptop cooling mat, kindle case, root beer smelly stickers,a mr. T 45 album (look it up, kids), and a samsung chromebook (which caused my wife to say "mine!"). All-in-all, a meh-velous haul.
Attention Meh Gods - I'm feeling kind of, well, meh. It seems like everyone else has gotten their box of butt cobras, yet I, am still sadly without. Please don't forsake me!!!! Well, my daughter received my box since Meh doesn't ship to Poland. I vicariously shared her excitement via Skype. She reported that there were the requisite 5 pairs of reading glasses, the paper bag with only 2 crayons, some other worthless junk and a tablet case with robots on it which actually fit her tablet. She was happy with that. Way to go Meh, I was expecting my daughter to be bitter and disappointed and she was actually pleased with the crap. Ok, she was a little disappointed that there were only 2 crayons, even at age 23, she still loves crayons. My daughter and her boyfriend will also get the tee-shirts, since Meh doesn't ship to Poland and I am sure they never will. So I will continue to shower my daughter with random worthless junk as necessary, I can Meh by proxy as it were.

Yup, so, I got the standard DIY kit, glasses, crayons, etc. A BYO camera case thing for a camera I don't have, a melamine Flintstones mug. And an extremely battered and busted up Betty Boop kitchen utensil holder. So much meh.
So, my wife was less enthusiastic about the first box than my cat was.
So after I responded to the forum post about the unclaimed extra thing, she was less than enthusiastic.
But once she saw what she was picking up, it was a little more exciting.
I wasn't yet convinced that it wasn't just a cleverly-wrapped box of bricks, but it turns out, it was indeed what it seemed to be!

@pooflady: Ours had maybe a couple of pounds worth, which was just fine since it made it easier to move the damned thing around.
I'm probably not doing this right, but at least there's a picture. Our holdup was that husband swore those were pop rivets, not screws. Grandson happened to stop by, reached over and unscrewed one with his fingers. Saved the day. Then we got the rest off.
One quarter in the tray and six in the back. $1.75. Anybody decide what they're doing with it yet? No place in my house for it.

I'm still mad that I found out about this the day after the kickstarter ended. lol I was complaining about how much woot sucked deal wise now and hubby was like "oh didn't you know about meh?" Grr.

Can't even begin to say how utterly sad I am that I didn't know about the Kickstarter and launch in time. There have been some awesome Fuku's in here. And the not so awesome ones are awesome for just that reason.

@medz when I did my Kickstarter a couple years ago for my fantasy novel, Of Thieves and Elves, I fulfilled my promises, and on time. Not to mention produced an award-winning book. :)

@JonT Thanks for all of the updates. I'm sure it was overwhelming to get everything started! I'm still buying lots of stuff on meh. Have been getting great deals and everything has been shipped quickly. You guys are awesome. I do have to say my anticipation on my kickstarter fuku is back up high again now that you've offered the first public fuku last Wednesday. :-)
