Fuku or No Fuku... An idea I just thought of...
2So I'm sitting on my couch staring at my iPad listlessly when I have a weird thought....
What would you do if there was a mystery small parcel in your Fukubukuro that had an RMA attached?
Ok, so this is kind of Deal or No Deal... But hear me out... You buy a Fukubukuro, and one of your random items is a box with an RMA label over the seam... The only way to open the box is to tear the RMA label in two. Now you COULD just do that and live with the item in the box... OR... You could send the mystery box back to Meh for a replacement mystery item. It could be crappier than what you sent back, or it could be great.
I don't know... Sounds too expensive. But I'd bet it would be fun if people used the honor system and didn't bust out an X-Ray machine.

@hallmike Hmmm.... Maybe. The RMA would attached to a user, I assume. So you'd know what was sent back.
My first instinct was to take it to my doc's office and x-ray it. Then I thought, you know - this could be kind of fun. As in a Let's Make a Deal kind of way . . . cool idea.

Interesting thought but it would be a logistics nightmare and the cost associated with it would be pretty ridiculous. I'd imagine we'd have to jack the price of the original purchase up significantly to make it feasible.
@MEHcus Luckily I don't mind if you lose a bit of money as long as I keep getting cool stuff. Of course, my greed may have me being a little short-sighted
@MEHcus It doesn't have to be for ALL people in the Fuku game. It could be for a small subset. Maybe like 5 or 10 people? Something to keep it interesting, you know? It could definitely add a new layer to forum fun.
@MEHcus Actually it's sortta like internet lets make a deal with out the silly costumes or really neat prizes. Irk could do monty hall
@MEHcus Not all Fuku are created equal - only one or two Fuku need have the mystery box within the box (bag) to make Fuku even more intriguing and delightful. I didn't take the idea @BillLehecka shared to be an "all or nothing" type idea - just a fun add-on for a lucky one, two, or few.
@MEHcus Can we have a special Lab setting for people who'd like to try different things and understand that stuff happens?
