FukŌ or FukU?
10I received my Fukobukuro (不幸袋) as expected yesterday:
Did anyone notice the Birthday Fukobukuro picture was a Fukubukuro (福袋) instead?
The two fukōbukuro bags I’ve received in prior sales were also 不幸袋.
Is there a hidden message? Do I get a 福袋 for finding it?

Fuko? I always thought it was pronounced garbo.
I’ve never paid that close of attention. My guess is the person responsible for the birthday sale image messed up and should be sacked.
According to mehstalker, the bag images from july 2017 - Sept 2017 went back to showing fuku bags then switched back to fuko bags until this one. Now I have to check all my sacks at home.
@medz Yes, it looks like the image from the last genuine fukU was reused. Forty lashes with a wet noodle for whoever committed the mistake, if indeed it was not intentional.

I actually almost didn’t post it, because you may have done it with the intention of me referencing it. In which case, my posting it would have been doing what you wanted.
