@medz I pretty much never have to do more than just check the checkbox. With the exception of the April Fools’ Fuku (or was it a Fuko?) which required me to do maybe a dozen of them (yes, I got that Fuku), I’ve only seen a “pick all the XXX” CAPTCHA maybe a half dozen times in my life.
Had no idea this was the meh.com equivalent of a boc. Thought it was just a bag. Clicked buy anyway and clicked the captcha checkbox. Was about to buy then I thought “why don’t I buy a couple of these bags since I’m already paying for shipping” and hit back. Sold out when I tried again. Welp
@paulbeinetti actually, the bag does tend to be the only thing that survives the garbage bin when you open a Fuko. Safer to think of it that way.
And not only are you paying to relieve Meh of the dumpster fee for the other contents of that - mostly filled with air - box, you’re also paying to advertise Meh when you shop using that bag!
The speed of our internet here positively guarantees that a Fuko will never be in my future - captcha dictates that there is no point in even bothering to try.

And I know there’s a post about how we’re silly for caring so much about something so trivial (and they’re totally right) but really I do think it should be addressed. Meh knows we’re here for those Fukos - so why must they make it so doubly difficult to score one because in the end all they are doing is pissing people off.

I have found that if I’m logged into my google account and using a Chrome browser (phone or laptop) I rarely have to do anything but check a box for google captchas, whether they’re on Meh or not. My husband rarely stays signed in to anything anywhere (worried about privacy and such haha) so he usually has to deal with the extra steps.

@f00l I tried using chrome but still got two different pick the street signs screens, which i did and was finally verified that I wasn’t a robot -then green line loaded processing and after the 6th time the green line loaded it finally went through…the first fukoburro I tried for had the green line loading for 10 times then said oops and I had to start over— of course they were all sold out by then. However, I did get one today in vmp but I’ll have to wait probably until January to open it unless I get my husband to do (so when it arrives at our home). I guess he could just send me pictures of it since I am not at home and don’t know when I’ll be back.
