@thomasaelliott The 5050 strips I've had, while colorful, weren't quite as good when it comes to making plain white light. Mine were way too cool (bluish) when set to white. You also have to consider the cost of the DC power supply / controllers when compared to these. The 5050s have their uses when it comes to customized mood lighting, but they're not really optimal for general lighting.
@kuoh mine came with a 44 key controller which lets you adjust it however you like, i can just turn the blue down if they feel too blue.
I converted a pc power supply i bought for cheap into a "universal" power supply. ive been using two 5m strips to light my dorm room and while i wouldnt perform surgery under them, they have been good enough for everything ive done with the added bonus of everyone i bring over being amazed by them for a few minutes and playing with all the colors and patterns
Come on, baby, light my wire.
Was that the 46 foot line?
i think it looks pretty good, however these prices dont really feel like a deal, i can usually get 5050 RGB led strips for cheaper
@thomasaelliott It would be nice if you'd link the rest of us to your deal, or where you usually get them.
