I found Thule Trail many years ago, and it takes the Oregon Trail idea and turns it into a car trip with your friends on your way to a concert. I had a bit too much fun with it at the time https://jayisgames.com/games/thule-trail/

So, there’s an Oregon Trail card game. It’s… difficult. I imagine the actual trek was truly arduous, but I think they could have made the card game with less despair. Still fun when dysentery strikes.

I played for an hour, had no idea wtf I was doing. Two people died. Didn’t find any gas stations.

I skied, mountain biked, snow shoed, hunted… That was fun. Just wish I knew why my people died. It didn’t say why. Had plenty of food and drinks.

Then I just gave up.

- @RiotDemon Poco, my fifth, got carsick on the third turn and died two turns later. Guess I needed to find some dramamine. On the bright side, morale was excellent after Poco kicked the bucket, so maybe she was a pain in the ass or farted a lot…

- @RiotDemon Me too, but I got it in a Humble Bundle a couple years back for dirt cheap, so that was well worth it. Still only $5 though…
