FRAAS on the Run
8I usually receive my meh orders earlier than the stated delivery window. Not this time. The FRAAS Versatile All Season Blanket Wrap Scarf was supposed to arrive April 28-May 4. I’m not upset; I just hope the scarf in enjoying its tour of Texas, the Midwest, more Texas, the Great Plains, and still more Texas. I live in a small town near Wichita, KS. As of now the USPS site still says to expect delivery by 8:00 PM today, 31 minutes from now. I kinda doubt it since it would go back to Wichita first.

Looks like it went to Indiana by accident which caused a long delay, but I don’t know what to think about what happened in Kansas. Maybe it’s a tracking error, and it never actually made it to the Wichita facility?
/giphy maps fun
@eonfifty maybe it wanted to visit @barney and her mailman Nathan?
@eonfifty @tinamarie1974 @ThunderChicken If it stops here, Nathan and I will split the loot!
@Barney @eonfifty @ThunderChicken but, but I am guessing your nightstand drawer is already pretty full.
@eonfifty @ThunderChicken @tinamarie1974 The nightstand draw is for my smartphone and other similar electronics.
I will keep my new Instantpot in my kitchen. Nathan can have the Nespresso machine.
@Barney @eonfifty @ThunderChicken my bad, what was I thinking!!
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don’t know. Maybe if it was worth going to Indiana for the visit
@eonfifty It’s a Colts fan.
Do you feel Luck-y?

USPS no longer shows an estimated delivery date. Maybe they are gun shy.
OTOH, my order is ‘still processing’!
@chienfou I guess Irk needs a few more acrylics to mature before he can weave yours.
@ThunderChicken
maybe some fertilizer is in order… mine is still not here…
@chienfou Wow.
@Barney @eonfifty @tinamarie1974 @eonfifty @chienfou @2many2no @f00l For anyone wondering about the outcome (I know; you have all been holding your breath), the scarf arrived May 6. The package had a shipping label on one side that showed it bound for someone in New Jersey, but that label had a big “X” drawn over it. On the other side was a label addressed to me. Perhaps that explains why it headed East for a bit. It may also explain why it contained the wrong color scarf. Oh, well.
@ThunderChicken After all that, it’s the wrong color? Hahaha. Sorry, I just had to laugh. It’s so typical of what happens around here. I guess you could press your luck and contact Customer Service.
@Barney I’m not sweating it. It’s a gift, so who knows which the recipient would want anyway? She’s my daughter; she will say she loves it no matter what.
I do have this bad habit of not opening meh packages right away. I guess that makes them DRKs (Deferred Regret Kits). I imagine this would strain Customer Service’s patience, but again it’s not a big deal. I have a few more around here that I’m now REALLY afraid to open, heh.
@ThunderChicken I feel your unopened meh packages pain. I can’t ever figure out if I’m deferring the pleasure or the pain.
@Barney @ThunderChicken I do that too - It’s actually a good idea right now; they’re saying to let packages sit for a while to let any viruses die off!
@Barney @Kyeh @ThunderChicken
Wow you are lucky, mine still says it is languishing in College Park GA for the last week (after taking over 2 weeks to get there from Texas… I guess it was tired from the long trip…)
Missed both the Mother’s Day and Birthday aka “fall back option” windows and now looks like an anniversary (Sept) or Christmas present…
@Barney @chienfou @Kyeh Mine was intended as a Christmas present all along. Or a birthday present, but with my daughter at high-risk, we are deferring that celebration.
