@theco2 I hope so. All the stuff here, various shirts from TeeTurtle, and a bunch of non-shirt stuff from shirt.woot with the 30% coupon ... nothing that I absolutely positively needed, but I bought anyway.
@narfcake I was going to try to use the 30% shirt.woot coupon, but I couldn't even find things I didn't need that I wanted. The one hoodie I wanted was sold out, in my size and I was really hoping I could use it for the canvas art, but that was a no go.
@narfcake even with the 30% coupon it's not worth risking it to me. The last shirt I got (Anvil made in Haiti) is so short and wide that I can't even wear it.
*Just re-read your post and noticed -non-shirt stuff- :)
@theco2 I picked up a few mugs, a hoodie, a tote, an apron, a lunchbox, stickers, and some mini plushies. The 30% off probably just makes the plushies an okay deal; it's still Woot, so I expect some disappointment. I'll probably do a comparison when the TT plushies arrive, even though they were 2x the price.
@narfcake the plushies are awesome, but it just seems like another random deal, so I'm sure there will be doubles of some and none of the others. The other stuff is good, though.
@theco2 I think the reason the plushies are sold as randoms is so they're not paying a per-sale commission. I still reserve calling them "awesome" until after they arrive, though; you should know to what level they are capable of bungling orders and products.
@Thumperchick I wear my hoodie quite regularly and use the Freaker every time I have a beer, which isn't a lot. Funny thing is, it was an accidental purchase. I was just trying to see if could be fast enough to get the beer kit. Yep, I sure was. I still haven't used beer kit.
@Thumperchick@theco2 Both of you really took their seemingly endless delays in stride. Which reminds me that I need to contact ADQ (and Joel), because I'm in no mood to deal with Woot's customer disservice.
@narfcake Yeah, I'm pretty much over the customer service. I had a back and forth with the CSR manager that included a lot of platitude and corporate speak that boiled down to, "I'm using the same industry standard methods that make you hate customer support. I think it's working out well." But he did wrap it up in pretty bows!
I'm going to absolutely need to give a gift to our postman this year. We get so much crap in the mail, by the end of the week we have a pile of cardboard to recycle (it's illegal to throw it in the trash here). I blame Meh for a lot of it.
@ABitterWoman lol... I have everything shipped to work (cannot get anything larger than a magazine at home and my "front yard" is about 18 inches deep)... for the last few years, I've felt the need to buy the people in central receiving and the mailroom gifts around the holidays. Bought a big box of cookies yesterday and will get some other stuff. back before alcohol became somewhat politically incorrect, I used to buy a case of wine on woot and address it to the mailroom guys.
They needed more. I got here too late. We need cheap stuff! I think. Maybe. Is this why the house is so cluttered? But I pay $5 for shipping if I buy stuff or not. More stuff!
This will be me in a few days when they come in the mail.
I spent $42 bazillion, on something I don't need, but I saved $60 bazillion. That's good, right?

@Ignorant This is the thread you're looking for. Post pics and measurements if you can.

@Ignorant This is why I will never buy another t-shirt from Shirt.Woot. Hoodies and other things, yes.

@narfcake Yes, it was a just a year ago I was waiting for a Freaker and Zombeer zip hoodie, for what seemed like forever.
@theco2 It was forever. Every time I see that freaker around the house, I get flashbacks.

You and I roll in different social circles, I see.
@chr Somersaults; that's how I roll.

@ABitterWoman Illegal to throw in the trash? Have you tried soaking it with gasoline and burning it?
@ABitterWoman lol... I have everything shipped to work (cannot get anything larger than a magazine at home and my "front yard" is about 18 inches deep)... for the last few years, I've felt the need to buy the people in central receiving and the mailroom gifts around the holidays. @ABitterWoman You could always set up a deal-a-day site and sell the empty boxes as cat toys.
@editorkid
@editorkid She could make a lot of money, doing that. Do you know how much boxes sell for, these days?
@editorkid @ABitterWoman It is all in the marketing. Cat toys, moving kits, play houses, oh the places we'll go.
They needed more. I got here too late.

Maybe.
