It totally depends on what you enjoy. My favorites lately:
Breath of the Wild (by far my favorite)
Overcooked
Hollow Knight
Mario Rabbids has been surprisingly fun
Loads of others that are available on the Switch that I enjoy too if you need more ideas. Let me know what type you’re looking for and if you don’t mind if they’re digital downloads or cartridges. Some good sales lately too by the way.
Mario Odyssey was a months-long obsession for the kids. I wish I’d had time to play Luigi’s Mansion 3 more, but life’s been too hectic to get time to go past a third or so; it’s definitely much harder than the original though. Mariokart is usually a must have for any Nintendo system, though I haven’t tried it yet as I’m holding out until the kids’ birthdays to give that to them
As much as I’ve enjoyed just about every Zelda, Final Fantasy, and other RPGs, I simply don’t have time to play longer games thoroughly anymore. Having also been a big Super Mario Bros fan, I really enjoy the NES classic games bundle that you can download from the eStore, plus Mario Maker 1 and now 2… particularly the speed-run challenges posted by others across the globe where you can compare times, from toddler-easy to single-frame-precision-insanity. This lets me have tons of fun for anything from 5 minutes to an hour or more, so the replayability of these has been phenomenal.
I have of course mostly been playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons lately, but I’m also fond of Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Maker 2, and Luigi’s Mansion 3.
I’ve picked up Breath of the Wild, and Lugi’s Mansion 3, but am only a few minutes in on either of them. I haven’t touched Mario Rabbids, or Mario Odyssey yet.
Astral Chain is a lot of fun so far.
I was delighted to find that Defense Grid 2 is on the Switch. It’s great to have a portable version of my favorite tower defense game.
My son says Breath of the Wild, Smash Bros, and Mario Maker.
Animal Crossing
Reason why? It’s the only one @sammydog01 is able to play.
@Barney
@Barney @sammydog01 I hate Animal Crossing, it’s slow and pointless. So WHY am I still playing it?
@blaineg @sammydog01 Because it’s slow and pointless?
@Barney @blaineg Because you suck at hard games like me ? Hey, Celeste is at my Island tonight. Wanna come over?
@Barney @sammydog01 Sure!

When I am controlling the switch and the girlfriend is tied up as opposed to the reverse.
