Reese’s Dark Chocolate Minatures. They used to show up only at Halloween (in a black bag), then for awhile they were selling them year-round, and now they seem to be gone! Only available from the candy-hoarder sites for exorbitant prices. I have this one bag I’ve been saving …
@fibrs86 where are you? Here in the SF Bay Area I cant find any store carrying them, although I haven’t been checking CVS. The local CVS is remodeling and has all their candy piled in big bins at the front of the store - I guess I could go bin diving …
Full size Charleston Chew. I found them one year at Christmas Tree shops - 3 for $1. I gave them out at Halloween and the kids didn’t know what they were but the parents did.

@sammydog01 I didn’t look that carefully. The outside packaging looked about the same as what you posted. I saw pumpkin spice (I don’t like pumpkin flavor) and didn’t look any further.

@stolicat The CVS by my work carries them year around. I bought some last week.
@stolicat Also Trader Joe’s has their own version, but it is more expensive.

@sammydog01
cookies and scream this year
It’s not candy but, it’s my favorite Halloween treat.
Kids came home with a ton of these instead of fun sized anything when I sent them shopping last week. It’s definitely different than candy.
How is it that no one has said CANDY CORN!?!?!?

@jst1ofknd
when i was a kid, us style smarties, and necco wafers, love those things
these days i hold out for imported dark chocolate, not the waxy stuff, at least 80%
@Cerridwyn necco wafers…yeah…
@Cerridwyn Doesn’t have to be imported…

@compunaut
still tastes like candy, not like chocolate
I actually prefer small shop make chocolate. I think it often has to do with the quality of the materials
@Cerridwyn @compunaut So no OTC chocolate for you?
@Cerridwyn I swear Necco Wafers are just Tums. Chalky and somehow tasty
