Going to cider mills, going to haunted houses, baking, watching scary movies (just watched the new conjuring last night), visiting wineries and watching the leaves change.
@DocJRoberts@macromeh Amen! And we’re in a serious drought right now, so I’m sure the pattern will change just in time for the precipitation to be frozen & we’ll have a “snowmageddon” year.
Bit of a pipe dream b/c I am at an age where woman self combust often feeling the need to strip off layers. As much as I miss sweaters, they are currently not a functional option.
Decorating for Halloween. We are one of the very few families in our neighborhood that doesn’t celebrate Christmas, so I go all-out for Halloween to repay my neighbors for their lovely Christmas decorations.
We get a lot of children driven in from neighborhoods where it isn’t safe to trick-or-treat (middle class neighborhood, surrounded by low-income areas), and I love seeing their faces light up as they check out my yard and decorated bay window.
Roasting chestnuts! These days it’s in the oven but I have memories of roasting chestnuts on my grandmother’s old radiators, or the burners on her stove. It was a fun family thing.
Eating apple and pumpkin treats.
@Ignorant my point exactly. They love to make it, I love to eat it. A win-win!!
Hitting the ground.

Bicycle riding when it is warm enough(like today!). Watching the leaves change.
Running on cold temperatures and taking long, hot baths.
