@andyw It’s been my experience that the best Pictionary players are not necessarily the best artists. Creative thinking is a big asset.
Case in point. (you may have to been around in the late 80’s to get this). The word “avoid” came up. Johnny Chicken-scratch drew a rectangle with some dots on it, which despite his non-existent art skills, was clearly a domino. He planned on drawing a long rabbit-eared “thing” next to it, but before he had re-applied pencil to paper, his team had blurted out “Domino! Domino’s Pizza! Avoid the Noid!” On the opposing team, the great artist among us started drawing a beautifully rendered person walking, but never made it to anything approximating “avoid” before losing the point.
@DrWorm I certainly was around in the late 80’s and for many decades before! I never really played Pictionary however, and I don’t recall the Domino’s phrase. When our siblings and families were together we played Fictionary, Scrabble and occasionally Trivial Pursuit-with no drawing required by me!
Draw your own conclusions is a fun game for big groups. Everyone gets a simple shape to draw and then one by one you can add up to 5 of that shape to help draw the clue which can be things like airports and castles. the person to your right will try to guess what everyone has collectively drawn.
Drawful - everyone one their own device with silly automated narrator. Combination of pictionary and that game where your pick the best definition of a word - but you choose the best phrase describing each illegible drawing.
@edsa Since you can play over Zoom we’ve had a blast with Drawful during 2020 & 2021.
When introducing people to the game we tell them, “This game is made for people who draw awful.”
Who knew that 2 colors and no eraser could create such hilarious results?
I like the way the survey didn’t name the game, but… Since you can get your artwork on a T shirt at the conclusion of the game… I’m pretty sure Drawful is the 4th choice in the survey.
Tic-tac-toe
I can draw that
Drawing straws
Hangman
Guessing the artist of famous paintings when your so drunk you can’t stand.
@Evansdoor That might be risky; “Gauguin” sounds kinda like somebody ralfing.
Drawing is not my specialty, to say the least.

Favorite? Any that I am not roped into playing. I’m terrible at drawing.
I will gladly draw you an “IOU” for Tuesday for a burger today.
I’m mostly here because I read that as “favorite drowning-related game” and my curiosity has always been of the morbid type.

Uno! “Draw 4”
Pistols at dawn.
I can’t do any of them because my house doesn’t have a drawing room.
