Farewell to Giphy Goathood
17I received my goat emblem very quickly at the beginning of the month. I didn’t know what to do with it, but I chose to embrace the quirky /giphy and promote the good times that it can bring us.
It’s been a fun month, a fast month, and I didn’t receive nearly the amount of blame that I anticipated. But now my month is over, and hopefully the goat icon will move on to our next honoree soon.

If anyone has a link to the source for this, please share. Googling chicken matrix only brings up someone’s proposal to raise chickens in their own Matrix-style pod farms so I gave up.

Does the goat get applied randomly, or is it picked out by the powers that be? I’ve seen the goat, but don’t really understand what’s going on. Story of my life, really…
@Fuzzalini There is a goat nomination thread near the end of each month. Users vote with stars for the nominees.
It was a thread I stayed away from until I got on the radar and got nominated.
@Fuzzalini all you have to do is ask about how it works, then the wheels are in motion, you will be goat in no time.

@djslack I have come to terms with gifbot. It makes for more gif usage which makes me happy. But I will continue to practice gifcraft the old fashion way.

Once in a while I look for a relevant or perfect gif.
But I like the bot because I like the randomness of it.
Sometimes the result, by being perfectly irrlevant, gives a whole big twist to the conversation.
