OK, this seems really stupid, but it’s better than the handle that came with my weed wacker… I’m not proud of it, but I’m gonna have to think about this one
A shame they didn’t think to give it a built-in attachment for attaching it to things, like a bike wheel quick-release, so you could hand-tighten it to “mostly tight” then just flip a lever to lock it in. Needing a tool to attach a handle to my tool would make me feel like a tool.
@ebatch Maybe that works for some people, but my tool doesn’t respond well to that kind of treatment.
Or, just in case you weren’t intending the double entendre, there is no “just wrench”, there is only “spend 15 minutes looking for the right wrench then 5 minutes gradually making it misshapen with the close-enough-to-work wrench”.
@ebatch@ravenblack That’s why the green tool handles they sold are excellent. They have an included allen wrench, which is stored in the on-board storage location for easy attachment and removal. Best thing ever for shoveling snow [barring my pickup truck and snowplow.

@PooltoyWolf I feel you- we had 2 Sasha and Ivan [the names just felt right], back when in NYS, you had to get a wildlife permit from the NYDEC to own them.
They were funny, cute and loveable, but also natural born tunnel snakes- I had to rescue them from all the nooks and crannies they found, that we didn’t even know we had.
I once had to cut open the back of one of our upholstered armchairs to get one of them out of it.
Then again, they probably wouldn’t have gotten stuck if it weren’t for the bell and collars we kept on them to make it easier to avoid stepping on them.
/giphy ferret playing
@PhysAssist Oh yeah! I remember when Samantha wormed her way under our kitchen counter and we had to coax her out with treats and toys. Worth the trouble, though. She was very docile and friendly.
@PooltoyWolf Ours were also always sweet and a joy to have around.
I likened them to kittens who never really grew up- they played nearly constantly, until they were exhausted, then collapsed wherever they were at the moment.
Thanks for the memory jog.

@Knightp@stinks I bought the set of 2 shown above from Meh last month & stated at the time that this might be the least MEH product I’ve ever bought after using it. The current model, I’m not so enamored about…I just can’t un-see the image of a porn-star waiting to get fluffed!!!
I’m 140 years old and have osteoarthritis in all my joints at least twice, and this will be really handy for giving me the extra leverage I need to lift up my broom while I sweep the floor.
Seriously though, this thing kinda makes sense in the position shown in the photos if it’s on a shovel, as it’ll help you lift, but the only way this might help with a push broom is if you put it at the top and used it to keep your wrist straighter while pushing/pulling.
I bet you’d look really cool with two of these attached as extensions on your mountain bike handlebar. Think of the possibilities. High rise handlebars. Twisted forward for that streamlined aerodynamic look…
@RedOak I love it. I like that this both seems like a good idea (I hate leaning forward on a bike - I don’t actually need to do this because my bike already has cruiser-bars, but if it didn’t I’d seriously consider it), and inadvertently draws attention to how bad the product is; that handlebars have padding-grips on them and this handle that’s supposed to be ergonomic does not.
@PhysAssist I read the reviews after the Meh ones shipped last month and realized my concerns were unfounded. It probably was the Goldilocks version to be honest.
@djslack Well, I wouldn’t use it directly as a hammer on anything, but I did use my steel shovel to remove ice by pounding the blade edge into the ice, and the plastic handle held up well.
First off I think It is not for brooms though you can use there, more for shoves does help in lifting. Second I think it would work better turned around . Not real bad ideal Meh has sold a lot more stupid products.
Really poor ergonomics compared to the previous helping handle you sold last month. This one requires you to either twist your arm or hold your, uh, tool sideways.
Bought a snowblower on friends advice. Runs great without no trouble and it’s well over 10 yrs old. Only thing is the handles are about 4-6” too low for me ( I’m tall). It’s an issue on the turns at the end of the driveway…lower back and hips really feel it. Called the company years ago asking for an extension kit and their response was “we don’t have one and have been making the snowblower the same way for 50 years.”. To which I responded, “ People’s average height has gone up in the past 50 years, you may want to have higher handles”. See on new models that they do have higher handles.
These handles MAY help if I can jury rig something to lift the snowblowers drive and auger lift handles. Jury’s out, but for $20 worth a try.
If you’re tall and buying a snowblower get one with high handles.
@AmazingChicken@RiotDemon It’s a valid point. Even with gloves, ice cold metal in below freezing weather would certainly be felt through a lot of gloves. Plus, some kid might stick their tongue to it!
please contact me asap as i can bend a crud piece of metal and put a sticker on it for 50cents a piece! u could 2fortuesday at a low low 5 bucks - cheaper than this! I’ll even ship it to Texas for free! Assembled in the US! Sticker printed from my printer on recycled material so its green! can paint them purple for additional 5 cents!

A handle for handles?
I’m not sure if I can handle this…
In case your garden tools don’t already have a dong.
OK, this seems really stupid, but it’s better than the handle that came with my weed wacker… I’m not proud of it, but I’m gonna have to think about this one
@Superllama7 we have something similar on our weed eater, ours works great
Is this a joke I didn’t know about? January Fools Day?
yeah…not buying my broom a strap on limp dick.
hard, errr soft pass
So I should be satisfied that I have free shipping and handling on this?
I can’t handle this deal.
I have one question. Huh???
Hey. Meh does this sort of thing to welcome all wars.
A shame they didn’t think to give it a built-in attachment for attaching it to things, like a bike wheel quick-release, so you could hand-tighten it to “mostly tight” then just flip a lever to lock it in. Needing a tool to attach a handle to my tool would make me feel like a tool.
@ravenblack Just wrench on a couple of nuts and boom…your tool is done in 2 seconds.
(Watch the “how to” video they posted)
@ebatch Maybe that works for some people, but my tool doesn’t respond well to that kind of treatment.

POPSOCKETS! SPROCKETS! DAVY CROCKETT! AWESOME!
@ebatch @PhysAssist @ravenblack This GIF is adorable.
@ravenblack Your first assumption was correct…but good to know your other info too. Lol.
The following vid. should assist…
@ebatch @PooltoyWolf @ravenblack I love otters!
They and ferrets play just because they can.
@ebatch @PhysAssist @ravenblack I miss my ferret!
@PooltoyWolf I feel you- we had 2 Sasha and Ivan [the names just felt right], back when in NYS, you had to get a wildlife permit from the NYDEC to own them.

@PhysAssist That’s exactly how Sam was, too! She would fall asleep in the cutest positions/poses. Thanks to you for the memory trip, too ^.^
This product is only for tools.
I think they put it on upside down in the video and those pictures.

/image handle upside down
@eonfifty earlier picture was more interesting.
@stinks

/image on upside down
@eonfifty Interesting. And scary.
@stinks

I think she looks friendly enough. And a bit like Lady Gaga.
/image lady Gaga sunglasses
is lube included?
Wait, didn’t youse guys just sell a competing product that did the same thing earlier (maybe on MorningSave)?
Are your buyers okay?
/giphy Annie are you okay? Are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?

@stinks It was on here, earlier last month.
@Knightp @stinks I bought the set of 2 shown above from Meh last month & stated at the time that this might be the least MEH product I’ve ever bought after using it. The current model, I’m not so enamored about…I just can’t un-see the image of a porn-star waiting to get fluffed!!!
Gotta hand it to meh…
Turn that frown upside down… put it on backwards and have the happiest shovels and brooms in town!!!
Grip the shaft part like a fucking moron? Not any more.
HONEY!! I GOT YOU A SURPRISE!!!
@yakkoTDI …and Kegel practice at the same time…
I’d go for it if it were a bit longer and included a broom attachment so I could sweep twice as much.
Practically speaking, I can’t stash my yard tools on the wall with this attached.
I do cleaning at a food plant, anything to improve ergonomics is welcome…I’m tempted to try one out.
I’m 140 years old and have osteoarthritis in all my joints at least twice, and this will be really handy for giving me the extra leverage I need to lift up my broom while I sweep the floor.

There’s a pill that’ll straighten that thing right out. For about four hours, anyway…
Would like to see more reviews. This sounds like a future gift idea.

I was concerned about the plastic one being wimpy, but this one looks like a bit too much.
I’ll wait for the Goldilocks version next month.
@djslack The plastic ones are extremely sturdy once attached, and have been really helpful with shoveling snow.
Turn that frown upside down… put it on backwards and have the happiest shovels and brooms in town!!!
@chickenherpe …damn… That sounds oddly familiar!
@chickenherpe Must be proud of this comment to do an encore so quickly
First off I think It is not for brooms though you can use there, more for shoves does help in lifting. Second I think it would work better turned around . Not real bad ideal Meh has sold a lot more stupid products.
Ah! What I’ve been searching for: a penis for my broom.
@ElieC nailed it!
@AmazingChicken @ElieC Missed opportunity. They could have called it “The Broomerwang.”
Really poor ergonomics compared to the previous helping handle you sold last month. This one requires you to either twist your arm or hold your, uh, tool sideways.
I can hear all the other tools in the shed asking–“So? How’s it hanging?..Oh wait, Never mind.”
Sad Johnson
You don’t want to fall on that naked. Trust me. The proctologist would never believe you.
@callow yeah not as many knob jokes here as I’d have expected
BWAHAHAHA - on a broom. This is so perfectly meh.com.

@CraigDanger You know, I was hoping for a GIF from “The Jerk,” but imma leave this here
Hyram is back! I guess I have to make the music up myself.
You guys clearly don’t get how nice a plastic handle is. Metal? Im vinter?? Achhhh.
@AmazingChicken aren’t you wearing gloves in the winter?
@AmazingChicken @RiotDemon It’s a valid point. Even with gloves, ice cold metal in below freezing weather would certainly be felt through a lot of gloves. Plus, some kid might stick their tongue to it!
@AmazingChicken @cinoclav I haven’t seen snow in over 30 years so I forgot.

But can you use it to lift Mjolnir?
@fogey2017 Sure. Why not? Thunder good.
you could bolt that to your head and look like a umicorn…(which is where the terms piss face and dick head come from)
