I bought one of these previously on meh. If you’re considering, I would rate the performance as reasonably good for the price point but I wouldn’t recommend it for one reason: you have to plug/unplug the charger every time you use it. If that’s a non-issue for you then this is a good option for a stick vac, but I find it surprisingly annoying.
@tuinybadger You do know that this is a ‘CORDLESS STICK VAC’ don’t you? Of course you have to plug and unplug it to charge the battery up. The world is full of lost souls
I also bought one of these from Meh, back in July. I paid $115, and I think it’s questionable at that price point, too close to significantly better units from Shark. This is a much better price, and I don’t think you’ll find much that’s comparably effective for less than double.
+Decent suction, starts struggling around pea-sized rocks, but anything smaller/lighter is no problem
+Good runtime, I’ve never had battery run out on me, usually still over 1/3 when I put it back on the charger
+Relatively quiet in ‘normal’ mode, much less noise than my full-size upright
-Annoyingly high pitch in ‘boost’ mode
-‘Boost’ mode only increases suction power, brushroll speed is not affected
-Brushroll gets nasty immediately, everything sticks to it, annoying to clean
-Just dumping/wiping the dust container isn’t sufficient, I have to periodically disassemble it to get cat litter and other bits of miscellaneous grit out. It’s assembled with self-tapping screws into the plastic, so eventually I won’t be able to put it back together.
-No charging contacts on the base, as @tuinybadger says. Not a big deal for me, I just attached the base to the wall above a power outlet, ran the wire behind it so that the plug sits within a couple inches of the charging port all the time.
This is nowhere near as effective as my full size upright head-to-head, but I actually use this all the time. I can grab it and do a quick cleanup in the kitchen in less time it would take me to lug out the upright and fight with the cord, so I do it every day or so instead of every week or so. Also much easier for overhead cleaning, as the weight is concentrated where my hands are and I don’t have to wrestle with the hose connecting to the canister.

@tadams9 @tuinybadger lol they mean as opposed to a dock that you just drop it into.
