Email about Fuko?
7So product description says this: "Especially because, out of sheer perversity, we emailed everybody on our list yesterday. " … is this talking about a different email than the daily email teaser? If not then I don’t see how that would drive sales more than any other day but if it’s a different email then how come I didn’t get it? Is it a list for VMPs or ??? … Just curious is all.

Maybe they’re talking about today’s teaser email that would likely indicate it’s a fuko. I don’t know. Somebody probably forgot to hit Send.
@medz maybe Pablo’s bad luck with products was a hint, but that was sent today, not yesterday…
@HemlockTea The product starts selling at midnight so it is essentially the next day after the email was sent. (I know, how do timezones work)

I’m VMP but I didn’t get the email. I’ve had one fuko before. Maybe it’s a list of everyone who didn’t get a fuko yet? Now I’m paranoid about the list…

After checking my spam folder, there was one from hello@morningsave.com. That’s unusual to get one from that site and it is one that I’ve subscribed to in my profile.
Nothing mentioning a Fuko though. Just crap about art.

@cengland0 I got that in my spam folder a few days ago and my email provider said it was put there because email from this site is usually spam. I don’t subscribe to it.
But as I mentioned in the main fuko forum, I must not be list worthy because I did’nt get a fuko email.

A few days ago, I got email from Meh – unrelated to the Fuko. The salutation addressed my cousin by name. This slip clearly reveals that Meh knows more about us than one would expect. Mysterious emails, “random” fukos – all signs that we are grist for some phantom mill.
I didn’t get an email either, just a personal phone call.
I got my notification thru my psychic Skull And Bones membership.

I didn’t get an email, either. I check a few times a week, but only have ordered a few times… at 8 am, I tried to order, and they sold out while I was signing in, so… no good for me
@marmitage you need to be signed in BEFORE 8 AM, say by 7:55 PM, the day before.
No fuko email here either…but I get the daily ones.

Just in case someone is tabulating this stuff, I didn’t get an email (at least not yet), I am a VMP and I’ve gotten every Fuku and Fuko prior to this one. (I might have gotten this one at 4 PM, but didn’t bother to get out of the meeting I was in.)
I haven’t read all of the replies above, but I’m willing to bet that no one actually got an email about the fuko (though some people may have said they did) because that is the simplest explanation.
As for why no email was sent, my first guess is because none was planned. That makes a lot more sense than someone forgetting, especially with a group like @snapster, @shawn and company, that tend to automagic such things and take note of the details.
Also, you do recall that we are all just guinea pigs (or mice or pigeons) in this grand set of experiments, right? Think about it: what gives them more data? Repeating another run of the simulation with the same old parameters? Or changing things up?
I’ll fully acknowledge that this analysis may be rather cynical. I’m still here playing the game, because it truly doesn’t matter (to me, but really to any of us) whether my analysis is completely or partially correct or total bullshit.
Finally, I’ll point out that I could have lied about everything above, and maybe I did get an email and also got a fuko.

It looks like they are talking about the Morning Save newsletter that everyone should have gotten (spam folder?). Previously Snapster has sent a Meh newsletter a day or two before a fuko, and Morning Save is a division of Mediocre. Note the “morning” in the fuko title.
