Reviews over at Amazon sound like this is a product that dies every few months and needs new parts or sent in for refurb or replacement. So, is $99 for 3 months of vacuuming worth it? I guess I could hope it dies towards the end of 90 day warranty and I get another 3 months out of the replacement or re-refurbed original purchase.
I did get a Roomba ~15 years ago from the old Woot and was really happy with it. Kinda miss having that daily pet hair sweeper.
@Hobertah I have had mine for over a year with no issues. You have to watch reviews because it could be the person never dumped the bin or just let it stuck up everything like power cords because they didn’t make sure everything was of the floor first
@disenburg@Hobertah it’s amazing how much better robotic vacuums work when you clean them. I found this out the other day when I thought mine was dying. Turns out there was just stuff stuck in the wheel well. Derp.
@disenburg@pyroguy7 This is true. That Roomba I had was very easy to clean. Probably why it lasted so long. I’m going to pass on this one today. It’ll probably show up again soon.
Thanks for the input.
So I purchased the black one solely because the white one didn’t have a picture of a cell phone and wasnt positive that it was phone compatible due to lack of cell phone in the picture… Really wish the photo would have brought me some reassurance
I bought one of these last time and it still works, but it is dumb as hell. Prepare to go find this thing tied up In the one cable you have on the floor hooked to your dad’s life support.
Tell Deebot to charge…them watch it literally turn away from the charge base and go after Papa again.
“Alexa, tell Deebot to leave my dad alone!”
“Did you say ‘randomly spin around in the dog shit it pooped due to fear of this Papa killing, loud ass, can’t stay in one room, POS?”
