Dog in the house-YIKES
9Daughter brought her dog (which is on our payroll) down when she came down for a visit 10 days ago (leaves today). Were most concerned how Weller (she named him after a bourbon) would react to Princess and vice versa.
No big deal-Weller hardly noticed her and she came out of the cage to look at him (which indicates she might have been around or seen dogs before), looked bored and then went back in the cage and acted totally normal.
Weller barked at any strange noise but specifically at the lawn service people and the golfers teeing of on the 12th tee behind our house, but over all-better visit than we expected.

He’s cute! I bet Walter wouldn’t have been so blasé about it.
Weller is such a cutie patutie!!! What breed? Also, extra treats for that sweet baby
@tinamarie1974 Combination of a maltese (sp) and a poodle. Maltipo?
Hope was fun for all!
If were me, it would have been named after a soldering iron.
@blaineg That cute doggie sure is an American Beauty!
@blaineg see, I would have gone for a Burgundian namesake, such as John, Duke of Berry.
You could address him as “Your Dukeship”, which is a nice plus.
