10Yes! Dogerday, the day my mom gives me ALL her attention!!! So many belly rubs today!!!
I was so excited I woke her up! I sat on her head until her eyes opened, then gave her a kiss in the nose! I think she liked it because she jumped up very fast and said, CHARLIE!!! That is my name!!! It was so exciting!!!
I am now relaxing on the squishy couch while she eats breakfast. I am not ready for my kibble YET. Maybe a peanut butter treat. Wonder how to get one???..

Dog-er-day morning was a bust. Mom just keeps telling me how handsome I look now. What did I look like before the bath…CHARLIE, I LOOKED LIKE CHARLIE. ALWAYS A HANDSOME BOI. Baths are not needed
@CharlieDoggo always so dramatic. It was a grooming and they TRIED to take a Christmas pic, but you look like a tweeker

Raven asked me to tell you that she doesn’t want to brag, but she’s been getting chicken lunch meat smeared with peanut butter and rolled up every morning this week.
(Shhh, don’t tell Raven, but I’ve been putting her medicine inside that roll. That’s the trick, Charlie–refuse to take your medicine unless it’s inside a glob of peanut butter at the very least. If you hold out long enough, you might even get the lunch meat roll-up.)
@lisagd lucky doggo, that sounds yummy! I get lots of treats here. Every morning mom makese a crunchy cheese ball, I wonder what is in the middle causing the crunch…
Sometimes in the afternoon I get a stinky treat with can cheese sprayed on top. Such good cheese, I refuse that stinky treat until the cheese comes out. Sssssoooooo good!!

Those treats sound yummy, Charlie! Definitely hold out for the spray cheese-- that’s primo stuff.
(Psst, Charlie’s person, I give Raven Petnc Calming Aid Soft Chews. I think they stink, but she loves them. She mostly needs them in the summer for thunderstorms, so I keep them in the freezer, and she comes over when I open the freezer, hoping to get some. They tend to make her sleepy, which is fine with me.

@lisagd Ill check it out with the vet, thanks! He is on Paxil daily for his anxiety and I have to be careful whatever he takes interacts well.
@tinamarie1974 Oh, yes, definitely check with his vet. Poor fella, it sounds like he really has a time of it. Maybe you should stop showing him all those scary movies.
@lisagd lol! He was a rescue puppy and I think he had a really hard life before he decided to join my family!
