I actually enjoyed the bit about Skymall, And the Skymall video. Even went so far as to watch the tearjerking epic dramatic video with that loud ShopVac and the drunken forlorn housewife.
If you stopped selling things and just wrote about one product a day, I'd still be here everyday at midnight to read it. Well that and to see if we get an Irk video. Irk videos are the best. Maybe I love him more than I should.
@Superjimtendo My sentiments exactly, although I seldom watch the videos. (that knife one was fairly clever though)
Honestly, since many deals are on things I have little interest in or don't need, the article about them is what I look forward to. The off chance of something useful/interesting being for sale is merely a value added benefit.
Meh is my personal unwinding time after a day of work or play. 15 minutes for a little bundle of joy, somewhat enjoyable lighthearted reading, polls, a daily video, and statistics. It's like a mini internet binge that's just all great.
I just hope with how much it is that it doesn't get unstable or burn out (See also: Homestarrunner.com)
Does anybody else have that moment after you hit submit and wonder if you picked the one most people picked? Some days, I want to stand out, pick the rarity, but most I catch myself hoping I match with everyone else, and like today, feel my heart break a little to find that I chose a less popular one. At least I still have you, description text. Today, you truly are my everything. :(
@simplersimon When I don't have a "stake in the game", I want to choose the outlier. If I truly have an opinion, I want to be in agreement with the community.
I always read them, not always immediately though.
i skim, theyare pretty darn funny
I seldom read the whole thing.
Every picture tells a story, don't it?

I like the write ups, and if you start a shirt site, I would love to help write those. He said hinting heavily.
@bluejester
I kinda read them religiously.. you know, to remind me what NOT to put in print if I ever become a writer.
@unkabob What, like poo on toast?
@brhfl Or using a euphemism for suicide as a way to summarize the article is over.
@brhfl ... Yes, like that.. My favorite would have been, say "chunks" but then again that could be too British.
I think there's a level between everything and pretty good. I'm almost always impressed by the creativity and humor - wish I could write like that.
The story is usually great...pretty good...well, meh. But always better than the prize.
people who bump nouns and verbs together are always appreciated by my .. whatever ... thing ## Heading ## unncessry ellipse. targus targus

@Jarf You know they released some new cartoons last year, right?
@jqubed I did not, so… thanks!
Always, but they are not my everything. Maybe my mostly, though. Also mostly the videos. Also mostly the jokers in the forums.
But on my first visit to meh, the write-up was what hooked me into checking the rest of the fun stuff out.

@simplersimon We can start a support group, you and me.
@simplersimon Ha! I play this exact game but figured it was because I work here. Also, today, nailed it.

Always read, almost always watch the videos the same day. I confess to bing watching the videos on youtube.
