Duty free shopping in-flight on international routes has pretty much disappeared from all the US carriers but in some markets it is still very attractive and they push it pretty hard. I have purchased items off the duty free cart in-flight several times, especially when I know I can flip the item for more than I paid, literally sometimes as soon as we land.
I really don’t like to fly, so I’m usually full of benzos and beer, so I’m an easy mark.
Only if they’re very long and I have no other options
