I let go around Halloween, and am just now getting back to basics, but I don't know if I'll make it through the remainder of the holidays without letting go again.
I do eat a little more during the holidays but not excessively. I keep an eye on my weight, though, and if it starts to go up I'll slow down the intake. I'll do anything I can to avoid exercising.

As the holidays start ski season I actually tend to eat better and try to get back into better shape for the slopes.
