Did you have instant Regret?
0This is to let folks say how good or bad the instant regret kits are.
When I opened my kit, it was instant regret, I phone 4 case, Mac book pro 15 case cracked, digestion tea (I guess that was to help with the regret) a Meh bag and the cream of the crop 2 cig lighter chargers. This was true regret List yours if you wish.

On the two recent irk reveal threads I think there was a mixture of regret and no regret (which is about normal for irks).
For one I had regret until I managed to fix a kid water sprinkler that had a hole. Then no regret as the kids will love it.
For the other one had the icepod managed to fit in my shower (I was going to use it as a tub for warm water) I would have had seriously no regret as I have no bath tub. Unfortunately it is too big and nothing I could do would make it fit when water was in it without danger of a flood, not to mention me fitting inside of it. That one is still no regret as at least I can likely sell it once I pack it back up nicely (still drying as I only finally tried my final try yesterday).
Truth be told, I’ve been on a string of “not-too-regrettable” IRK’s (some have been quite funny, so that’s worth the price of admission in & of itself), so I guess I’m due. I see my latest showed up yesterday, but I always wait until my wife can be part of the reveal so we’ll get to it this weekend.
I’ve probably had stronger and more instant regret from opening up a thread than from opening up an IRK, so there’s that.
I’ll post the details later, but this was my first bagless IRK.
I thought it was the BoC I scored (Thanks @mikibell!) until I saw that hadn’t shipped yet.
I know the drill, I’ll pester CS.
I’ve only had instant regret once (the broken poo pourri that gave me instant migraine that lasted over 24hrs and was the only thing in the box besides the ruined bag that was unusable after the poo).
The others I had to look through what was included, and at least got a laugh out of how bad it was.
Then there are the good boxes… It’s been a few years since I got anything good, but some boxes have had some really cool crap in them.
My last 2 came with very little regret.
One had some clothing, the IRK bag, and a Shark Apex vacuum.
The other had three 5 packs of CR2016 batteries, blue light reading glasses +2.50, an iphone 8 screen protector, cappuccino face masks, and a Cuisinart Food Processor.
@bady Dang, you’ve been seriously deprived of regret!
Lots of instant regret in my younger days… but not an “IRK” per say.
It’s been a mixed bag of regret and joy. There’s an item from my very first IRK over three years ago that I’m still using today. fyi, those wool dryer balls last freaking forever! I think we have all have our share of regret and not so much regret. And every once in a great while there is that golden ticket of IRKS
/image golden ticket
@ironcheftoni like a schmuck, I bought my own dryer balls… wasn’t lucky enough to get them in an irk… They are great though, I’m still using my originals that have to be about a decade old now… of course, they go missing for a long time because they’ll get stuck in a kids shirt when the kids do laundry and they won’t return them in a timely manner.
I consider it a miracle if I can locate two of my 6 at any given time.
You mean you did NOT get any Traker Pro chips?
@mycya4me I have extras (a number of boxes and loose ones) I can offer up to the deprived.
I didn’t even buy a IRK the last time it was offered but I have more regret than ever before just scrolling through the reveal thread! Hardly anyone posted pictures and for some reason it bothered me WAY MORE than I’m thinking it should have! Ugh… Can you say ANGRY, DISAPPOINTED & SAD?!
@Lynnerizer you’re on the wrong thread. There are 2 actual reveal threads; one is the original IRK thread. Lots of pictures there
@Lynnerizer here’s one of them

Lots of regrets. I used to “score them” by hovering around during a mehrathon. Signing into my google accounts so the captcha wouldn’t bite me.
Now, I just pay a lot of money to then justify buying shit I passed on in the past. It sucks. I can’t be the only one who feels this way. Such a stupid business model. At least throw out the chance of getting one for 5,10,15 whatever during the 'thon. Versus, welp, I will save myself a 50 dollars today.
BTW, am I the only lucky internet person that actually got a Guiness towel? The promotion to get your info from years ago that the web people called out the lack of actually putting their money where their mouth is. STILL WAITING for any perk of VMP. ANY. At this point, they could send me some fucking trackers and I would call it a win.
Or, you know, branded merch which, as a marketing budget, is a win win. Crazy ideas. “Experiments in E-Commerce” Then builds a brick and mortar store.
7 years. 5 x 12 x 7 = $420. There isn’t a way my “wins” from an IRK ever makes that price worth it. Except for when they gave out a PS5, isn’t everything some Chinese knockoff? Send me a f’ing meh shirt FFS.
Greetings, new robot friend. In time you will come to accept your robotic ways.
@KNmeh7 hmmm

They’re getting you to buy things you wouldn’t otherwise. Corporate bigwigs might say that’s a clever business model.
I agree though that it sucks for people who don’t spend a lot. I’ll probably never get an IRK if I have to spend $100 for one… Even $50 is a lot for me … I usually only buy one or two cheap items during a mehrathon… I’m a cheapskate.
@OnionSoup It has nothing to do with being a cheapskate. In fact, the poor people buy non-durable goods and have to, in the end, pay more than those who can afford the upfront cost.
Can we admit that, at some point, we have gotten a counterfeit product from meh? We are here for the BOTTOM of the barrel. If they think their trash, for their lottery of trash, is worth what they are asking. Good for them. I guess Mario Lopez or whoever needed hand job money reps on their other sites.
@KNmeh7 to my knowledge I have never received anything counterfeit from Meh. A lot of Irks are of very questionable value, but I don’t think anything has been counterfeit that I’ve received.
