(HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Let’s see how long this “series” lasts before Wollyhop forgets to post the next thing)
![The Knight][1]
Okay… So… I like DBD.
A lot.
And since nobody else will listen to me about the game, I am going to scream into the void that is this forum.
Let’s begin.
So, the Knight is a killer in Dead by Daylight, an asymmetrical “horror” game with four survivors and one killer. The goal is to hit the survivors, put them on hooks, and sacrifice them to the Entity before the survivors complete 5 generators and escape. Each killer has their own power and three unique “Killer Perks” that change the way the Trial (Match) unfolds. Which brings us to today’s killer, The Knight (Tarhos Kovacs). I’m not going to go over the lore here, but if you want, you can look it up for yourself.
Killer Power: Knight has the ability to summon his guards, The Carnifex, The Assassin, and The Jailer.
![Teamwork makes the dream work][2]
The Knight can put the guards on a patrol path to scout ahead or locate survivors nearby. The Carnifex (The big one) breaks Pallets (Wood pieces that can stun the killer) extremely fast. The Assassin (The one that has the scarf) gives the Deep Wound effect, which, if not mended, puts a survivor into the dying state. The Jailer doesn’t have an ability, but he just stays out for longer. He’s special in his own way.
Map Decimated Borgo. You WILL get this map so, so many times. (Also, it used to be red, as seen in the Mori, but it was changed to be a murky blue now. It looks better.)
Killer Perks:
Hubris: Whenever a survivor stuns you, they gain Exposed (One hit down) for 30 seconds. Cooldown: 20 seconds.
Hex: Face the Darkness This perk activates a dull totem when you injure a survivor. (Dull totems are the little pile of bones around the map. Hex perks get attached to these. More on Hex perks later.) It curses that victim, causing all other survivors outside your terror radius (The heartbeat indicator when playing as a Survivor. It tells you when a killer is nearby, and certain Killer perks are attached to your Terror Radius.) to scream and reveal their auras briefly every 25 seconds. The effect ends if the survivor heals or gets into the Dying state.
Nowhere to Hide: Whenever you kick a generator (Which you should be doing) within a 24-meter radius that moves with you, survivors’ auras are shown for 5 seconds.
In Conclusion:
Why did I choose The Knight instead of The Trapper or The Nurse? Well, The Knight was actually the first killer I ever played when I first got into DBD. So, yeah, he is special to me.
Anyways, (Hopefully) soon, I will be back with another killer to review.
Bye for now,
Wollyhop
