Dang it! I left town without my drone!
0Currently four of my toys are in working condition. Two gimbals. Two cameras. Plenty of batteries... I left town after work yesterday afternoon and forgot to grab the box I had set aside with a setup in it. There are active train tracks nearby running through a little agricultural community and I was really hoping to get some video of the train approaching, passing then leaving.

I feel your pain. I went to Florida for a week and was so busy leading up to leaving that i didn't grab my phantom when i was loading the car.
I told myself it was for the best, it was pretty windy on the beach and i probably saved myself from crashing it into the ocean : )

Im surprised at the the risks i take with mine considering i have well over a grand tied up in it lol.
Now that im done modding it im actually kinda bord with it.
@nltownsend843 Your FPV racer is gonna fill a void then, right? I look at this build as my gateway to a HAL. Getting my feet wet and making sure I have all my duckies in a row with a full build before I sock $500 or $600 into parts.
@ruouttaurmind I couldn't quickly find the thread that discussed your AEE S71 cable so I'm continuing it here! I just got home (8:15pm) and I see a yellow package for me. It's your S71 FPV cable! Looks great. I hope to set it up on Sunday (probably during the warriors game) and I'll let you know how it goes.
