I spent about 5 minutes trying to find George. Even looked at their Twitter account, the forums, and installed Woot Stalker. None of which helped.

Eventually, after refreshing the page about a dozen times and looking at every page of home.woot (thought that that’s what was said), and loading the desktop site numerous more times, George decided to appear.

I did get to the desktop version. And most mobile browsers have a “request desktop version” switch in there somewhere. And sometimes you actually get the desktop version when you request it.

Amazon and their sites are good about this most of the time. Some pages you have to kind of trick to get the desktop version, other desktop pages don’t play hard to get.

Anyway I went to the bottom of the page, clicked on “community”, and then clicked on “Woot” on the top left and got the desktop page.

And then no George. I didn’t keep trying to refresh. Part of me wants to keep my failure record re intact.

If I could get a roomba …

Often when I can’t think of what to do with something, I stick it in a particular closet which I actually use. Some of the stuff which I dunno what to do with have been in there for 2 years.

Although lately I’ve been moving some stuff to a box set aside for Mexchanges. I have enough garbage useful stuff junk items in it for 2 boxes.

@RiotDemon They run about once a month (except in December they were all over the place). They had a bad spell a year or so ago but have been pretty fun lately. True you may get a dog but sometimes you get a jock strap so it evens out.

I like to follow them. (Same as with the fukos.) A lot of the stuff is the same, but on the other hand, a lot of the stuff is different. It’s fun.

However, after years of having only made 2 purchases on my Woot account, I finally made my 3rd purchase: a BOC.

For me personally, that’s why I tried to get it. (Besides; somebody else paid for it through my convincing them, so anything I get is pure profit.)

Classic tabby is the big lines (and sometimes the bullseye on the side) versus mackerel tabby has the skinny lines.

I just thought brown is a boring name for a multi color cat.

In 2016, the main shirt.woot team went from 4 down to 1. Travis left, then Joel, then Mike, leaving Ocho taking care of all the administrative, artwork, contracts, curation, logistics, etc. Recently, Ben came onboard so she has help, but still it’s two people doing the work of four.

Both are AA size 10
One is gray with a donkey standing in front of a green chalk board with equations written on it.
The other is a black shirt with a Yoda like character that is saying “Quit I cannot. Too Legit I am.”

The cellophane pack is about 3 inches wide and 7 inches long (I have not opened it.)
It has lots of different things. One is a sticker(?) that is red and says "WE’LL SAVE OURSELVES, THANK YOU."
There is a dark blue badge with a dinosaur (Why do I always get stuck with the dinosaurs?) It says “REACH FOR THE STARS”.
Looks like there is something from Dr. Who? (I’m guessing that it’s Dr. Who. I’ve never watched the series.)
And there’s something else that I can’t see.

Really, it’s just a very little envelope of stuff.

My favorite things, except for the high end speakers that show up once in awhile, are shirts that fit or are too big. The owl thing is the cover- really cute. Funny- my last BOC I got a smart cover for my ipad in a pretty peach color. You did get the best magnet though. I have extra pizza ladder magnets- want one?

One of the things I’d look at when getting a Fuko or Fuku was: if I can’t use it now, is it at least something I might eventually use.

The sandbox toy set passed that question as did the storage box.

I personally cut off the sleeves and the neckline to make a bigger hole to put stuff in. Flip it inside out and sew across the bottom hem with a sewing machine.

@mfladd They’re AA, so they shouldn’t shrink much. While I usually line dry my shirts, some that are “doesn’t matter” do go in the dryer; the dryer dried AA shirts are still longer than line dried Anvil shirts.
