@tinamarie1974 In a survey design class I took they talked about translation problems. One thing we were told was one should always back translate to see what happens and if it doesn’t come out the same then one might not have translated well.
Uncle Roger say “Hiyaah” every time Meh sell colander.
Everybody know colander just shitty wok with holes. Niece and Nephew, when Meh sell colander, do not buy. When meh sell wok, buy. Because wok is best pan ever.

Fewer morning save products (you have a site for those) along with more decent brands and more variety and yes cheap is good, but not worth cheap if it is total trash.
I thought I see this post because I am Korean. lol felt you collect my personal info? but now I know this wasn’t it. but why… in korean? Do you know K-pop? Do you know Kimchi? Do you Know parasite? Do you know Son? Do you know K-9 Thunder? Do you know Rooftop Koreans?
@pjspih some time ago Meh became very popular with a Korean audience somehow, and posts started showing up in the forum in Korean. There were so many Korean users that Meh hired a Korean customer service agent.
@pjspih About 25 years ago I worked in Korea supporting electronic equipment at some of the major Korean companies we know well today. We had to be there for a month at a time but I enjoyed it. At one point me and an associate I worked with bought some cassette tapes to learn basic Korean. On long drives we would listen and repeat so we learned some basics like speaking numbers and simple phrases. My friend commented that the guy doing the voice sounded like he smoked 3 packs a day and was more grunting his sounds than speaking them. It was kind-of funny. But I did enjoy the experience and the culture there. Brands that were then “new” to me (Samsung and Hyundai and LG – at the time Goldstar) are now common here and some of my favorite brands and best quality products.
What is the deal with Trump guy @sjk3? Why is his/her Racist Fascist trolling allowed here but there is no reply or report button? Please delete the fascist haters from this site.
EDIT I’m guessing maybe the Mods have a special “hate-lock” button where a particular comment remains visible (so no accusation of censorship as the Trump people like to spew), but don’t allow the hate-thread to continue. Just curious about the policy on this and also the mechanism that the Mods have – it’s kind-of cool I suppose if that was already planned as way to deal with the hate spam that is so common today among 47% of the country?
@djslack I agree the puppies are better. Now as a software guy, I’m just curious about the mechanism that seems to do, as I said, a hater-compromise where continued hate-threads are shut down (a GOOD thing I’d say), but still without removal of the hater post that started things in the first place? As I said it’s probably an elegant compromise if that’s really what’s going on. Though if we decide that this sort discussion is inappropriate to begin with (I agree with that also), I don’t see what’s wrong with just deleting the hater post to begin with.
@pmarin I get the curiosity. It looks like they can lock a particular comment for replies for more granular control than locking an entire thread. My guess is they left it to leave the admonishment to take it to the politics thread in place so maybe it wouldn’t come up again.
Great
Thank you Google.
What did I just vote for? (And yes I know about google translate, just didn’t want to bother)
북한은 최고의 한국
With President Harris in the White House, I welcome our Chinese and North Korean overlords.
@sjk3 Shouldn’t that be
백악관에있는 해리스 대통령과 함께 저는 중국과 북한의 군주들을 환영합니다.
@rtjhnstn @sjk3 no politics. There is a thread for that!

왜 그렇게 이른 아침에 나를 그렇게 열심히하게했는지. 그것은 단지 의미입니다!
Hum…not exactly what the same when you translate both ways!

Wow- what a throwback.
Thanks for the trip down Mehmory lane.

@pmarin both of you need to go to the politics thread.
