16Wow! What a way to kick off the tourny! Speaker Docks had the edge all day long but Power Banks made a late comeback to take a close win. Final count as of this posting was 23 to 21. I’m really feeling for those of you on team Speaker Docks and I’m hoping @sohmageek didn’t lay too much moolah on the line in Vegas. Alas, today we move on. I’ve decided to stay within the region as opposed to jumping around the grid so today we’re putting up Vacuum Sealers against their age old enemy, Electric Toothbrushes. You may notice I went with the classic Pursonic instead of the more controversial Quip but go ahead and lump them all in together. They all suck equally. Now go vote!

Check out those vacuum sealers taking the early morning lead. They may be sucking the air out of the electric toothbrushes.

@BlueMaple It’s like the NCAA tournament. You still have to pick the lesser of the two evil 16 seeds (or 8 seeds in this case).
Even though I’m a customer of both product categories (Yes, even Schrodinger’s Toothbrush Club) I still place my vote solidly in the Food Saver Seal-A-Meal club. I could (but I won’t) tell you how many rolls of bags I’ve gone through, and the dang thing is still sucking away like a pro(stitute)!!

I have no idea why vacuum sealers are beating the toothbrushes tonight. I do have both thru meh, but the toothbrushes stand out more to me when I think of meh.
I blame the GoaT for not leading with a Quip picture to rally the toothbrush troops!
@mfladd I thought the Quip might scare more people off. Either that or somehow get me involved in a lawsuit.
@cinoclav @mfladd Well, this is just like real life - now I’ll be 0-2 and this blows the entire NW quadrant of my bracket (I had the toothbrushes making it to the final four). Well, I still have a chance at the Eastern semis and the championship match-up.

@cinoclav @mfladd @stolicat I don’t know. Power banks are small and portable. They can charge a myriad of items. V speaker docks. They are larger, some only work with certain electronics, etc
As far as today I am as shocked as you guys. Who doesn’t love a good electric toothbrush. There are so many uses!

Seems to me a blame is in order, clearly the field of 32 was not clearly defined. Should we be voting based upon popularity or based upon its “meh-ness”?
@mfladd @tinamarie1974 It’s interesting, I didn’t specify on what basis a vote should be made but I did generally pick items that were more about the mehxperience than what I simply thought people would like. So you’re voting essentially follows my thought process while I’m sure others have voted strictly on their personal preference.
