Chrome Easter Egg Game
10Have you ever had this error within Chrome before?

Happens to me all the time because my internet at the house is crap. If you have a good internet connection, you can get there by disconnecting from the internet and trying to load any page or you can simply type in chrome://dino/ in the URL.
You start the game by pressing the space bar on this screen. It’s pretty cool especially since it’s coded to work offline.

There are some Firefox and Edge versions of a game easter egg too but I don’t use those browsers so I’m only posting about Chrome.
I’ve had it before when out and about in an area that blocks service. Always slightly disappointed that the game automatically disappears instead of having a button pop up saying the internet is back.
Someone actually made an iOS app of it:

In the early 21st century, I used to play solitaire or minesweeper to bide the time when internet connectivity would go out. (Windows even had a pinball game that you sort of had to know was there to find) But minesweeper eventually was dropped from Windows and now even solitaire requires an internet connection. When that happened the last remnants of my video gaming days were over. The dino Easter egg is quite cool, but I don’t think even in the old days the game play would have kept my attention that long.
