@pmarin@werehatrack You kids and your fancy dag gum suffixes… Plain ol’ check engine was good enough for my pappy, and it’ll dang well be good enough for me.
@riceatusc I forgot about those. That would be an awesome thing to still have. That or a Subaru Brat.
Someone near me had a Geo Metro convertible which is also pretty cool.
Crazy that there used to be 50mpg cars 40 years ago and we are back to roads full of mega-SUVs that get 20mpg if you’re lucky.
And then you start getting aches and misbehaviors from things you never even heard of.
Oh, wait until you are past 70. Gas mileage drops, everything is out of alignment, and the radiator leaks.
@rockblossom And the brakes drag all the time.
I checked.
The engine was still there.
@phendrick But was it light?
None of this wussy shit for me. I’ll take the full strength check engine, thank you very much.
@shahnm took me a while to get that….
Why stop there?
You need check engine MAX!
@pmarin @shahnm Uh, maybe not MAX, I’d suggest the safer XL version.

I’m 34 and feel like an old beat-up Geo Tracker.

Oh, to be 34 again and have a Geo…
OWLS! TOWELS! JOWLS! AWESOME!
The engine is fine but the tank is running low.
