This is disgusting (we have cats and deal with this on a too-regular basis) and I feel bad for the cats (I'm pretty sure I shouldn't for any number of reasons, but I can't get past that it looks like a painful and unpleasant experience for them) . . .
And yet it is so goddamned funny. And fun. And catchy.
For those unfamiliar with the habits of cats, it is totally normal for cats to groom fur and then hawk up a furball in their stomach. If they have been eating, it comes up too. Also, if a cat has an empty stomach and is hungry (as in you are late for feeding time) they produce stomach acid in anticipation and then throw it up as a liquid.
However, if a cat throws up a particular food a lot, it may have an allergy to some ingredient.
And you'd puke too if you hsd to clean your butt with your tongue.
@RedOak yeah...and most dogs would eat whatever the kitties bring up...or out out the other end. Had a neighbor that had a dog that used to follow a cat around just waiting for it to do its business..

You're a horrible person? Thank you?
I think my favorite bits start at :09 and 1:14.
@joelmw get some techno pumping next time your cats are expelling their food and have a party

@hollboll I thought about Swiper just now.
@radi0j0hn That's always been my thing with cats, whenever people feel special because that cat seems to like them.
"Aww, she likes me."
"Yeah, she likes licking her butt too."
@joelmw At least cats know better than to try to lick your face after licking their butt - unlike dogs.
@hallmike Nope. Sigh. Not all of them.
People are weird. So many of us recording cats puking.
@medz part of me feels like (hopes?) this is first time owners recording their cat doing a weird dance and then SURPRISE
We've had both cats and dogs. Yet another reason why dogs are better. ;-). (But our cats never wretched up that much volume!)

Which comic strip was it that had the cat named Haaacccck?
@cranky1950 Are you maybe thinking of Bill the Cat and Bloom County?
