I went to buy… BUT… They are listed small medium large, The images are listed Satchel, attache, shoulder bag (if we’re going with one word answers wouldn’t sling be there) Can we keep some consistency?
@snapster seems that the whole seconds to make a selection (before our reason kicks in) didn’t work on this one… The more I think of it and had to figure out large was the satchel… the more I decided I didn’t need another bag… Reason beat my impulse shopping today.
So the large/satchel is measured in Freedom units while the other two are metrosexual metric?
Also, “large” but only holds up to a 14" display or 15" MacBook?
I need something a little bigger than my beloved solo bag from here because I just got an external USB display to dual wield on the road, but this looks like it might not fit the bill. I’ll measure and see for sure.
Here are all the bag sizes in Freedom units to more easily compare apples to apples:
Small: 7.9x3.9x10.2" holds devices 7.3x0.4x9.5"
Medium: 16.5x2.3x11.9" holds devices 15.1x1.2x10.5"
Large: 17.3x8.3x11" holds devices 14.1x1.2x9.7"
Note that the medium seems to hold a larger laptop than the large despite being shorter in length, probably due to pocket design.
The large “satchel” bag … in the blue color is 29.95 on Amazon + shipping. Meh.
Buttons on the outside instead of zippers? Meh. Again.
Need zippers to secure my stuff. Want zippers to hold my stuff!
@PlacidPenguin thanks! Turns out s/h makes that a worse deal for VMP members but could help normies save a few pennies (or just people who think the blue looks better).
According to Case Logic’s site, the ‘Satchel’ should fit 15-16" laptops. My 15.6" Spectre x360 is almost the exact measurements of the interior pouch. It has 1160 cu in (~19L) of volume, and the exterior dimensions are almost perfect for the “personal items” dimensions most airlines use. Meaning you probably have enough room in the bag for essentials, and you can fill your regular carry-on with bluetooth speakers you bought from Meh to offload on relatives.
I’m confuse with specs and pictures. Pics don’t have model # specs don’t have names but model #s , specs for the larger are smaller than the medium size ?
@arrakisforce@Kidsandliz They would never ever expire if they were properly stored in the refrigerator. Let this be a lesson to you, and may others learn from your folly.
Got the little one as I like to carry a small Kindle Fire with me and a flat little “Papershoot” digital camera or a small digital audio recorder.
All my other bags are way too big (but made of truck tire inner-tube material) and this one is better than my East German stiff leather map case. Real “may I zee your papers” gear.
Can’t use common black ballistic nylon bags as we have two white cats and you can not keep the fur off those bags. Had real good luck with Case Logic stuff in the past.
I wonder if the little one would work for conceal carry purposes? Any pictures of the inside of that one? Is it just one pocket? (no internal pockets/zippers/etc)

Do you have anything in a leopard skin print?
@norman8 Kinky man, just kinky…
@norman8 You mean, like, a leopard?
@norman8 I’ve got this pill-box hat … had it for decades …
Batteries should definitely be stored in the fridge.
I went to buy… BUT… They are listed small medium large, The images are listed Satchel, attache, shoulder bag (if we’re going with one word answers wouldn’t sling be there) Can we keep some consistency?
@sohmageek Agreed. Attache is medium, seems like the most useful of the lot.
@snapster seems that the whole seconds to make a selection (before our reason kicks in) didn’t work on this one… The more I think of it and had to figure out large was the satchel… the more I decided I didn’t need another bag… Reason beat my impulse shopping today.
@sohmageek
If we’re going with perceived masculinity, “satchel” isn’t it.
@SluggerOtoole European carry all?
@Hanky
/youtube seinfeld it’s european

@djslack Freedom units, LOL!
I did some math.
Here are all the bag sizes in Freedom units to more easily compare apples to apples:
Small: 7.9x3.9x10.2" holds devices 7.3x0.4x9.5"
Medium: 16.5x2.3x11.9" holds devices 15.1x1.2x10.5"
Large: 17.3x8.3x11" holds devices 14.1x1.2x9.7"
Note that the medium seems to hold a larger laptop than the large despite being shorter in length, probably due to pocket design.
I also did some maths.
Here are all the bag sizes in SI units to more easily compare, I don’t know, crepes to crepes:
Small: 20x10x26cm holds 18.6x1x24.1cm
Medium: 42x6x30cm holds 35.8x3.1x26.7cm
Large: 43.9x21x28cm holds 35.8x3x24.6cm
USB display sleeve is 16x10" so I’m giving it a shot. righteous-momentary-tendency is on the way.

@stinks the next time I have a 1 minute and 10 second bathroom visit coming up, I’m putting this on.
Good pictures of the pockets and insides of the cases. We know for certain they are truly Mah.
@hchavers no inside pictures for the shoulder one though…I don’t think…
@medz you are assuming it has insides

Yes- it’s an extra 3.35 to buy on amazon, but this meh deal really isn’t a deal!
What the hell does “North Brooklyniest” mean? Is it anything like “West Miltoniest”?
@mythereal Kind of like South Detroit.
Bah! I want the vertical but it’s not big enough for a 22cm x 29cm Pixelbook. Pass, sobbing…
This scene isn’t my bag, man.
@UncleVinny Well this bag isn’t my scene.
@djslack @UncleVinny That’s it! You’re both sacked!
@djslack @yakkoTDI There’s no Logic to your Case against us, man.
@djslack @UncleVinny @yakkoTDI Just zip it. I’m sure meh has this one in the bag.
What? They make hipster bags now?
I think I may be old.
(I may or may not have done a photo shoot for Case Logic… Cassette cases. You do the math.)
@eVil on the plus side, this speaks well for them sticking around to honor the 25 year warranty.
@djslack Very good point that I hadn’t considered. They’re owned by Thule now, so I don’t know if that’s a pro or con.

I’ve had the attaché on my amazon wish list for a year waiting for a price drop, so purchased! Would have gotten the satchel if it fit 15.6 laptops.
Borax??
I can’t carry a pencil in my pocket…I’m afraid it might puncture my scrotum.
@Bumplepimp
Gives new meaning to “lead in my pencil”
@Bumplepimp next time we hang out, remind me…I have a punctured scrotum story for ya.
@UncleVinny

Finally something to carry all my Bluetooth devices and expired batteries.
@arrakisforce You really need to consult with @shahnm about what to do with all your batteries.
@arrakisforce @Kidsandliz They would never ever expire if they were properly stored in the refrigerator. Let this be a lesson to you, and may others learn from your folly.
Where’s my easter egg picture in the product specs? Where are any of the pictures in the product specs?
@mikey Since the last easter egg gif was cats puking I stopped looking.
@sammydog01 The techno video? I showed that to my boys cause it was funny. I regretted that life choice for the rest of the evening.
@mikey That’s the one. I still regret it.
This sale had me all excited to go listen to some old Satchel Paige albums, but it turns out he was a baseball player, not a jazz performer.

just an fyi, model #s underneath the product pictures on the page are not correct. LODP-115GRA is not for sale on meh.com
I got the large bag and it just barely holds my HP 17 laptop. not ideal but for the price it is workable.
