Someone suggested for wires. For the colors I didn't like on the sleeve covers I turned inside out. Could turn some into cozies for other things? The stitching in them seems pretty easy. ...Hand puppets?
Maybe use the smaller ones as cell phone pockets/holders in your car? By attaching them to stuff? Cut them into coasters for drinks. Group them into randomish packs of 10, 20, or 30 and sell them to suckers on the internet!
I put the box of assortedness in the corner of the room and told my 3 year old twins, "this is daddy's stuff, don't touch it." I'll deal with whatever remains, which I suspect will be very little from all the pitter-patter-chatter and giggling... score another point point for reverse psychology!
Mittens? I first skimmed the best ones for my devices (because I'm selfish like that), then invited the family to take what they needed for theirs, then friends & coworkers. Any that I cant sell go to teenage trick-or-treaters.
The sleeve style ones fit perfect over a water bottle.
The "book" style ones I am going to find pads that fit inside. A shock-cord will keep the bound edge put and they will make neat little journals to give as gifts.
Anything with zippers is going to become a cable pouch or a packing cube.
The "stretch covers" are just going into my fabric bin to use as scraps for future projects.
@neuromancer are the stretch covers neoprene too or are they a different sort of fabric? I'm hoping mine will have lots of zippered pouches because I think they're the most versatile.
I missed out on this meh. The nekked Kindles, tablet, and cameras in my home weep for neoprene.
If anyone would like to strike a deal to get rid of a few (or more), I'm game. I don't need or want coveted laptop cases, but crave the sizes it seems many are cursing their plethora of.
If only they'd used a few of these neoprene cases to pad the shipment of my 1st meh purchase - the ceramic coffee mugs - which arrived 2 of 3 shattered... Oh, meh....
@Relleluck I have 20 or so with no home...lots for Kindles but they appear to be the kindle e-reader or the first gen Kindle Fire mostly...two small for the newer Kindle Fire or for other common 7" tablets.
@tightwad - ok, forum acting up on me, let's try this again.... If they are pouch-type covers, I could definitely use a few! We have various kindles, smaller kids' electronic devices, cameras and a 8" tablet that all need neoprene. If you're really interested in working out a way to unload some of these my way, then please email me at my user name - re lle lu ck (remove the spaces) -at- gmail (dot) com. I'd be oh so very happy! Thanks!
If you don't like the pattern, there is a simple 15 step process you can use to paint them a different color. So easy an child can do it. The information is available on the binggoogle of course.
The book-shaped thingies are just about useless for anything besides their designed devices. Maybe some sort of avant-garde picture frames or something.
But the pouch styles and the laptop cases are going to be travel art kits for my little ones. Perfect sizes for markers and colored pencils with the laptop bags holding some coloring books or sketch pads. The zippered ones are probably going to be best, but the open ended ones won't be that bad. They look like they'll sit up nicely in a cup holder, to boot. If I feel fancy I might try and put a cinch cord or something on the top.
I am thinking sewing needle storage items. The fold over kindle cases would be awesome with velcro identifiers. Or the kindle cases, can be split open and embroidered with the sewing needle #s. Yeah, think I am going to do that...
The foldover pouch style with the velcro and zipper compartment are clearly stylish clutch purses. I took one out with me last night -- the smaller size. My keys, phone and iPod fit, along with my wallet. :-)
I am probably going to mod a couple to give as gifts -- attaching a long ribbon on the sides to make it a shoulder strap. Like so:

Check your local hospital..... I bet they can use these.
Many hospitals have tablets in the children's hospital area. These would make a great donation to them.

@neuromancer Duh - don't know why I didn't think of the beverage coozy angle on this deal! Probably had too many cold ones already...

@Jester6641 Genius! Going to do the same with some of ours!

@Trin Please post pictures of the completed project! Which prints do you have to work with?
