Robbie Lee is an Orlando-based t-shirt artist who’s sold more than 200,000 shirts. And Robbie Lee has also been working as an art teacher for the past 15 years. So it makes sense that Robbie Lee would put out books to teach people drawing. His latest, Drawing Made Easy: How to Draw from Observation and Imagination will help you draw people, landscapes, and the things in front of you. Again, this all makes sense for a professional artist and art teacher. That’s why we wanted Robbie Lee to get out of his comfort zone. So we said, “Hey, Robbie Lee, maybe try drawing robots for once.” And the rest is history. Actually, it’s fiction. Because Robbie Lee has drawn so many robots that when you go to his site, he has his designs split between “shirts with robots on them” and “shirts without robots on them.” Forgive us. We just want to feel important.
I wore the blue version of this shirt yesterday. I love them both. They were purchased as one of the early Mediocritee offerings. They held up great and I wash them in hot water and medium heat dry. The graphics haven’t frayed a bit.
