@pakopako find yourself someone who looks at you the way this guy looks at his lightbulb going in a fancy trash can (or the way a stock photo lady looks at a salad).
The reviews of these apparently discontinued bulbs show that they tend to fail after a relatively short period of time. Other reviews show that some people have no idea what they are doing.
@haskins187 Typically it’s the capacitors of these that fail or a single LED in the array and they’re not designed to have fail-over in them.
They’re not toast when they “go out”. If they start flickering it’s a capacitor (can be replaced on many but at the cost of the globe itself); if you know an enthusiast they might want the bulb carcass toget parts from.
No information on what their Color Rendering Index (CRI) value is, which makes me suspect they might have some gaps in their spectrum. Probably better than those cheap CFL bulbs with the terrible CRI, though.
The trash app requires login, location data, bluetooth connections and more just to make the bulb stop flashing when you turn on the light. I would rather buy a box of Covid.

Is there a Symbian app?
@yakkoTDI
@lomerson2 No? How about a Sybian app? Asking for a friend.
I don’t think my video card supports VeSync
Lasted a few months, looked in my recycle box and other types of this manufactures bulbs filled it. Not fun with 16 foot ceilings. Read reviews.
I believe the phrase “Jump the Shark” jumped the shark when an episode of that 70s show jumped the shark while jumping the shark.
@AaronLeeJohnson The sharks are queueing up.
@AaronLeeJohnson @PocketBrain Left shark? Right shark?
@AaronLeeJohnson it was from the show Happy Days when Fonzi jumped a shark on a jet ski and people concluded that the show was out of gas and doomed
@AaronLeeJohnson @sbrener Water skis. Jet skis didn’t exist in ancient times.
@AaronLeeJohnson @sbrener

So after many searches the 2.4ghz is WiFi?
Are these WiFi or Bluetooth connected 2.4 can be either
@thismyusername Yes, WiFi
I have this brand and it continues to work two years later (though not the smart version, and at half the cost).
A bit odd the penultimate picture looks like the guy trashing their bulb (instead of installing it on the shortest desk lamp ever)

@jouest @pakopako If it smells like chicken, you’re holding it wrong.
@jouest “stock photo lady looks at a salad…”
Not bright enough for old eyes.
Need at least 75W.
The reason these humped a snark was that they render your light switches essentially unusable.

I have nowhere to put more bulbs, anyway.
I have quit buying things with “Smart” in their descriptions.
@IAMIS smart
No HomeKit or Matter support. meh.
Another off brand that requires yet another app? Meh.
I don’t want bulbs that default to turning on full-bright after a power failure. Do these do that?
Whoever thought that was a good idea anyway?
@RayRoss it was a real lightbulb moment.
I’d try these out of they could be controlled by my existing Smart Life app, which works extremely well despite being a Chinese-made spy app…
Sorry Meh. This is a hoity toity, creme de la creme, only the finest of stupid smart devices household. I’m already committed to Phillips Hue.
No more off-brand LED bulbs for me. I thought I wouldn’t change another light bulb for 15 years but it seems like one is always crapping the bed.

@haskins187 @tardis Hmmm. Bulb carcasses.
Sell this creature, and I might be interested.
