I was thinking about getting a pair of these, but I am going to pass, since I can't find any reviews, other than the couple on Amazon which really don't tell anything.
If anyone here knows anything about them, let me know.
@RedOak They already have a department of fining people who water their lawns and a department of fining people who let their lawns turn brown, it would not surprise me. Since the government monitors peoples' water and power consumption, and they can find grow operations by inordinate power consumption, they can surely detect shower-dawdlers by their water consumption.
On the plus side, the bureaucrats who monitor people's water consumption can wear these headphones while they go about their jobs, drowning out the people's complaints.
@sjk3 I lost all sympathy for California's water problems when several years ago we compared our Midwest (surrounded by Great Lakes) water bill to my brother's Southern California bill. They were virtually the same cost. Tired of subsidizing CA water. Tired of hearing complaints when they refuse to simply raise the price of water to match its scarcity out there. No credibility.

The people most affected by the drought have been (surprise, surprise) poor and rural residents (where water quality has dropped to unsafe levels for many as they scrape for reserves), rather than those assholes with multi-acre estates who were staging protests by overwatering their lawns despite fines.
I'd consider these, but I already bought the last Polk headphones, and meh has neither shipped them nor answered my support ticket (blew me off Friday), so I dunno how much I trust these
poor-awry-cougar In for four. Perfect timing, I needed head phones for the kids. They use ipads and computers at school and need head phones. These will be thrown in back packs with books and what not. For the same price as a stiff plastic pair they would snap in 3 days they get these. Hopefully they'll survive the kids a little while. :-)
So funny story about last night.... I was going to stay up till midnight.. but sleep was calling, yet I knew I'd have a hard time sleeping as I really wanted to stay up till midnight to see what would be on sale... (it's a catch 22, I'll fall asleep on the couch waiting for midnight, but If I go to bed, I'll just lie there not falling asleep... I'm weird) So I had my Sleepy-time Juice (that's what we call it) (Mango never tangerine) I remember waking up to the Meh alarm (3 minutes before midnight) grabbing my phone... then I remember waking up to my alarm (4:30) and my wife handing me my phone... She said I sat up... held my phone and fell asleep sitting on the bed with my phone ready to check meh...
TL;dr I took a neuro sleep and I fell asleep while using my phone waiting for midnight to roll around.
also... Why would I buy 6... Now if it was a case of 6 for $22... I may be interested... I seriously wonder with you guys... IF on some of the deals you could do a bulk order... you're into moving product right? Your buyers make a good buy... Then I wouldn't be opposed to buying a pallet of something that I'll go through...
The last thing I need is MORE headphones, but these looked pretty attractive to me for some reason. I really like the swap out of on and over-ear pads, and I figure they're pretty decent for the price (I'm a Polk fan though).
Hey, these just showed up. Initial reaction: these definitely make the short list of meh.com purchases I don't regret. We'll see if that status holds up under continued use!
@edheil The headband on mine just broke after 2 weeks of careful use. Hope you had/have better luck. But yeah, otherwise these were adequate for the price paid.
I just opened mine up (they sat in the box for a couple days). I regret making them wait. :)
The biggest thing for me is the comfort. I wear glasses, and most headphones push my ear into the frames. These aren't the absolute best, but nice without the outer sound-blocking cuff and REALLY nice with the cuffs on. (NOTE: I will happily take recommendations on others, both with and without mics.)
Sound quality is a bit muffled on some sources, but better than most headsets I've had. These things are LOUD though. When hooked up to my PC, I need to turn it down to 15-25%.
Surprise microphone caught me off guard. Sound quality on it is good, if a bit quiet.
I kinda regret only getting one for everyone in the house. Meh gods, feel free to toss them up again. :)
@lemonswithsalt If they don't help you out - write in to meh.com/support so they can remind Polk that they are indeed authorized. Sorry it's not as simple as it should be.
@lemonswithsalt I just had the same thing happen. I got them for my daughter for her birthday in November. Yesterday she went to put them on and snap! The headband broke right at the top. She had them for less than a month. (And just for reference, she's 14 and took good care of them.)
Same as you, doesn't look like they (Polk Boom) are going to cover the warranty for us either.
Guess I know what to get her for Christmas now.....
I REALLY like these. They seem well built and work well. However, the wire has come apart and I can't find a replacement that will fit on the headphones. I went to the Boom website and they said they only honor the warranty if the product is bought from an "authorized" dealer. Well, MEH isn't on the list. I emailed the company so hopefully they will work something out with me.

I bought these and one set is defective, shot, broken. I went to there website and they said warranty is only good for authorized dealers. Pls advise what I do. Is that the case with all items you sell No Warranty?
