Apparently, there are people who find these useful. That’s good. I hope they buy all of them, so that if I ever get another IRK, there won’t be one of these in it.
I bought a percussive massager previously on Meh. When it arrived it was what appeared to be a dirty demo model and had a Post-It note attached. The note read “broken” and that note was accurate. To Meh’s credit they gave me a full refund.
Tomorrow is payday, so I think I’ll try my luck again with this one.
@Michaelforman that’s like getting baptized for Meh. Back when they were woot I got some shitty gps with a huge screen. They did accept the return, but I got lost in South Carolina and no one ever should experience that.
I’m surprised more people aren’t excited about this one. It looks great to me! The angle is good for getting the right spot on the back of my shoulder, the extension handle is convenient and definitely needed! It’s got heat with several several massage speeds, and different heads for all my needs!
Now, because it would be TOO EASY to just hit “BUY IT” I’m gonna procrastinate and stress over it while I take a few hours comparing it to other ones that do the same thing.
@Lynnerizer You said it! I’m pretty surprised as well. This is a screaming deal for the quality level from the samples we reviewed. Hope you pull the trigger and are happy with it
I have a nearly identical Bondir I got from Costco for 3X this price. It is excellent (or at least Mrs News says so). If we didn’t already have one, I would jump on this.
“An extendable arm for reaching wherever you need relief”
Oh I bet that arm can reach wherever you need alright. It’s even ribbed. The fact that the vibrating head can be rotated to hit the “base” of the extension really sells it.
@Coldwyn It sounds like you’re experiencing chronic proctologistic edema with underlying prostateitis. By all means, get this unit today, and use it in the privacy of your home. But, please don’t return it where it could end up in an IRK. And, please please never talk of this again.
I have one of these (or nearly identical) I paid more than twice as much for and recommend even at that price. The pivoting head and extension handle are worth it vs. other massagers like this. I can reach my own back and shoulders without having to twist or stretch awkwardly.
These percussion massagers are the sort of thing you won’t necessarily want to use too often, but when you need it, you’re very glad to have it.
@k4evryng@Lynnerizer Yeah, I finally went for it too. My very first Irk had a massage gun and I like it, but trying to reach the painful muscle inside my left shoulder blade can be hard. The articulating arm on this convinced me.
This is the one I have.
@k4evryng@Kyeh
Yeah this one looks really nice, I’m going to be surprised if people find anything to complain about. Well, let’s be real here, someone WILL find something… Lol
@Kyeh I got one just like your picture in an irk as well. I tucked it away and we didn’t use it for a couple of years…but once we did (about 6 months ago), we liked it, lol!
Unfortunately, I guess because of not using it for so long (combined with the age of the battery), it will only hold a charge for about 5-8 minutes (which is long enough to get some relief, but too short for both of us to use it without a long recharge break).
@k4evryng Oh, what a shame! Yes, that’s maybe the kind of complaint people might have, @Lynnerizer - not holding a charge or just not working at all. I hope not!
@k4evryng@Kyeh
Oh jeez I hadn’t thought about that! There’s always a plus to buying corded things, especially when it comes to this kind of stuff.

@cdf12345 Exact same behavior here as well on both of the 2 I ordered. It makes a high pitched noise when trying to charge as well which doesn’t exactly sound good.
@variable5 I got mine, and charged it overnight, and it’s working okay so far. I was going to post a fuller description when I’ve had a chance to see how long it holds a charge.
@zakdageneral was the charging light blue? The fact that it was plugged overnight doesn’t mean is charging. Mine turns blue only after I turn it on, runs for a few seconds then it dies and turn back to red.
Mine arrived last night, wouldn’t turn on. Plugged it to charge, tried to run it while plugged and it ran until I pressed it onto my other hand. So I left it alone to charge over night. This morning the charge light was still red, should had been blue if fully charged. I turned it on and it died as soon as I pressed it against my other hand.
Mine is a dud. I moved it to a different (65 watt) charger with a thunderbolt 5 capable cable (240 watt) I’ll report back in a few hours.
It has been 3hrs. I still have a pulsing red charging light. I’m afraid that even with the upgraded charging, no progress had been made. I’ll give it more time.
@cdf12345 I filed a ticket under technical issue, it said to expect an answer in 2 business days. But I think I already tried everything they could suggest.

@werehatrack I have one I got in an IRK. Have not tried it yet.
That’s an extension handle, not a head.
@Xtoff Not with that attitude it isn’t!
Uh, oh. I guess D2 got sent pounding the pavement for pounding the wrong tissue.
@phendrick
Honestly, having jumped on this deal I might have to try that too…

This look like it has solid reviews!

@Michaelforman in my last irk I got a combination lockable suitcase came locked with no combination lol

Any idea why mostly women but these? Just asking.
I have a nearly identical Bondir I got from Costco for 3X this price. It is excellent (or at least Mrs News says so). If we didn’t already have one, I would jump on this.
@MrNews Jumping on it is not a recommended use case, if I’m not mistaken.

After some serious procrastination…

@Lynnerizer me too, lol!
It totally would have been my luck to procrastinate and then come back to buy it…only to find it was sold out…
@k4evryng @Lynnerizer Yeah, I finally went for it too. My very first Irk had a massage gun and I like it, but trying to reach the painful muscle inside my left shoulder blade can be hard. The articulating arm on this convinced me.

I’m literally Lol because that’s exactly what I thought when I FINALLY went to buy it!
@k4evryng @Kyeh
Lol

Can we discuss this image??
@briancmason AI? Seriously. I guess it’s faster. LOL
@briancmason Rambo’s gotta a big appetite.
The sidedeal looks interesting :
It gives me that thermite detonator feeling. I think Rambo would think they are meatballs.
@cfg83 Mmm, tasty.
@briancmason I pulled the trigger on the meatballs.
/showme FitRx VibraBall Rechargeable Massage Balls on plate of spaghetti.
@mediocrebot Outlook, cheesy
Waiting for one of these to be called something akin to “The PussPounder 5000” before I buy.
@Pufferfishy I think that was in one of the OG Robocop commercials, but it was cut for time.
In for one, since my last one just had the batter stop charging…my second one to do that. Hopefully this third one doesn’t have the same issue.
Just got mine delivered today, it won’t stay on for more than 1 second and it does not seem to want to charge.
When it does turn on, it turns off the moment something touches the massage end.
Anyone else or did I get a lemon?
@cdf12345 Same here. Mine won’t hold a charge at all. I’ll try again after work but it looks like this is getting reported to customer support.
@cdf12345 Same issue, decided to try charging overnight to see what happens.
@Brandonson112 @cdf12345 I did charge mine overnight. Didn’t help.
@cdf12345 identical symptoms, trying now a 65w charger with a thunderbolt 5 240w cable after it failed to charge overnight.
@cdf12345 same experience here. Can’t even get it to work while plugged in, which it claims is possible.
@cdf12345 same here
@cdf12345 Exact same behavior here as well on both of the 2 I ordered. It makes a high pitched noise when trying to charge as well which doesn’t exactly sound good.
Yep. 100% doesn’t charge. Nor function. Reached out to return. Booooo
Same issue when I received mine. Won’t charge won’t turn on
Mine haven’t even shipped yet, and one of them is a gift for Christmas. I wonder if I should try to cancel…
@variable5 I got mine, and charged it overnight, and it’s working okay so far. I was going to post a fuller description when I’ve had a chance to see how long it holds a charge.
@variable5 if I could cancel, I would.
Mine must be defective or something… I charged it fully and it doesn’t run more than 2 seconds before it dies.
@zakdageneral was the charging light blue? The fact that it was plugged overnight doesn’t mean is charging. Mine turns blue only after I turn it on, runs for a few seconds then it dies and turn back to red.

8hrs later, light is still red. Is not charging. This one is a dud.
@NombreDeUsuario I had the same experience.
I also haven’t heard back from customer service, but I’m chalking that up to the holiday weekend.
@cdf12345 I filed a ticket under technical issue, it said to expect an answer in 2 business days. But I think I already tried everything they could suggest.
