@Kyeh Dang, I’m late! I missed out on some good ones, these guys are good! <sigh> … My problem is coming up with games, but I’ll give it a try! You know me, I can’t help myself.
I love to chase balls. Really big balls. Mom has some balls in the back yard. I have to run and jump so high to land on top of them. Then I can flip over or roll down them. It is so much fun! Also, mom likes it when I jump high because she tells me I am a good boi!!! Then I get a PB treat! Yum!
Oh, why did you ask? Does someone want to come over and play?
@CharlieDoggo
My dog’s favorite game is to play keep away (of herself from me), when she gets loose (slips her leash or bolts out the front door). But she’ll go right up to any stranger and I have to ask them to grab her collar as I reassure them she won’t bite.
The last time she was loose after she pulled the sewing in her webbed leash apart, there were 4 young ladies out for a late jog, and I asked them to help. One put her water bottle down and my dog grabbed it and then played keep away from them, getting close but then darting away!
She’s such a brat (and she revels in that).
If it’s late at night and nobody else is around, sometimes I have to resort to slowly driving by her with the truck door open so she jumps in. She’s a sucker for a neighborhood ride.
I’m too old to run after her but she is fast and I probably couldn’t have caught her when I was young, anyway.
@CharlieDoggo@Kyeh maybe physically, but not mentally. I’m not good with stress.
Also, she has no street smarts. Literally. She’s dumb enough to sit down in the middle of the street while we are crossing and a car is coming, just to sniff herself or scratch, and I have to tow her. One of these days, I’m afraid I’ll be adding her to the r.i.p. list.
Dumbest pooch I’ve ever had, but probably the one I’d miss the most.
@CharlieDoggo@Kyeh@phendrick I found some old pics from when Charlie was a bit younger. Most were videos, which I apparently cannot upload so I did as best I could w screenshots.
He is wearing a leash in many of them so before anyone asks he was likely taking a break to blow steam w the balls while training in the backyard.
I did post a pic of his current minagre of balls, the fence behind them is 6’ tall so that should give you an idea of scale. Gives my hearding dog something to heard…or preform circus tricks with. Either way
@CharlieDoggo@Kyeh@tinamarie1974 Bravo!
Like him atop the orange one! Has he made it onto the top of the big blue one?
I’ll have to get some for my back yard. My HashBrown used to chase some old basketballs, but she hasn’t seemed interested in that lately. They’re in the front yard, and there she’s more interested in watching people.
@CharlieDoggo@Kyeh@phendrick he has made it on top of the blue one as well, I just couldn’t find a pic or video to share. He loves them! As fyi they are just big yoga/exercise balls. I found them in amazon and he goes through a few of each size each summer.
Since he is a herding mix, he also really likes using his nose to push or heard the ball around. It burns off lots of energy and he comes i side a happy boi!
If your pup enjoyes you will have to let us know and maybe take a pic or two to share

@CharlieDoggo Does mom have any pic or video? Those would be great for her to post (if you are not too shy)!

@CharlieDoggo @phendrick @tinamarie1974 SO CUTE!
/showme dogs playing many games
@mediocrebot I don’t see many games represented there…
@mediocrebot @phendrick, maybe the game is related to the woman in the yellow dress keeping the boy’s shoe on a leash.
@kittykat9180 @mediocrebot LOL.
Or something to do with the flying fish that two of the pups are trying to emulate?
@mediocrebot @phendrick, lots to dissect in that image.
/showme Best dog game
@mediocrebot meh
I’ve seen flea medicine ads on TV with dogs having more fun that.
