@Pony I’ve been around. I took a job teaching in an elementary school last year and trying to balance the business, work, home and then the murder shed died. It’s been “all hands on deck:ludicrous speed”. Miss y’all a ton. I’ll try to pop in and be more present. Actually heading to England for a spell before school starts again.
@Pony@sillyheathen
I thought you were entering more France type food till I looked it up and saw it was fish and chips and patties. not what I eat but I’m sure there’s some good chicken or turkey there.
@Kyeh@tweezak@werehatrack I like mine with equal parts orange & cranberry juice, and traditionally it’s mixed with vodka, but the non-alcoholic version usually calls for a splash of something fizzy, like club soda. I prefer something like Fresca or ginger ale to add a little extra flavor, or you could use any citrusy soda you like, such as Sprite, 7UP, etc.
White Trash Ramos Fizz. (Or Lake Berryessa Gin Fizz because my parents made these on Sunday morning when I was a kid and we’d spend weekends at Lake Berryessa.)
One can frozen lemonade
Equal amount gin
Equal amount half-and-half
One egg
Orange flower water
Ice
Blend it all up in a blender.
The kids would usually get just a little. I make them once a year or so to bring back memories of my folks.
Margarita you fools!!
@yakkoTDI That’s what I had with brunch today. It was delicious.
Bloody Mary.
@Pony How was this not a default option?!
@Pony no no no. This is what we call SALAD! It’s the healthiest brunch option you can have!
@Pony @sillyheathen I like the mix, hold the vodka.
Extra hot sauce!
@ircon96 @Pony @sillyheathen You beat me to it! Maybe extra horseradish.
@sillyheathen Hoi! I haven’t seen you in ages. Where ya been? Or maybe where have I been? Anyway, missed ya!

@sillyheathen I’m so sorry the murder shed died- that sucks. But yay England!

Spanish coffee is much better than Irish coffee but much less traditional
Mimosa; I like to make believe I am high-class.
Since I don’t drink alcohol, probably grapefruit juice.
@tweezak gotta be carefult about that stuff around certain meds, though. Which is a real bitch for me.
@tweezak @werehatrack I don’t drink, either, so I like a virgin Madras. That’s a good one for brunch, since it’s made of juices.
@tweezak @werehatrack @ircon96
What goes into a Madras?

But it can be fun unexpectedly lol

@SSteve
egg, half and half with all that??!! It’s probably better tasted when you don’t know what’s in it lol
Pimm’s Cup or a Bourbon Mule
Hard cider and Hot Damn.
Irish coffee to wake you up, mimosa to get you over the hump and screwdrivers to keep you going. That’s the way to do a hangover!
