@2many2no@ironcheftoni@mikesmells
I agree, seems like cheating and a quick way to both the bottom of the bag AND the poor house! Those are way more expensive!
@2many2no@ironcheftoni@Lynnerizer@mikesmells I remember my mother buying the red-dyed ones when i was a kid. She & I were the only ones who were addicted to them, so by the end of our snack time, we looked like murder suspects! Good times.
@2many2no@ircon96@ironcheftoni@mikesmells
My mom also got me hooked to the red ones when I was a kid! She still buys us a bag at least 3-4 times a year (ONLY when she sees them on sale) except she switched to the non-red non-dyed white ones. Yes, good times for sure!
We’ve been gorging on Halo oranges, like 4-6 bag’s a week! The other thing that’s a constant around here is chocolate covered caramel popcorn, chocolate covered raisins (no sugar added) and anything else that’s on the rotation from Nuts dot com. Beef jerky, candied cashews, mixed nuts and they’ve got dehydrated veggie chips that I can’t get enough of!
@ircon96
Well they are a little pricey, I think it’s worth it for certain things. Getting on auto ship saves a few bucks. Literally a few ($3) bucks on about 5 to 6lbs of goodies. I also refuse to pay shipping so I make sure my order is $59, it’s $29 once in a while, and a free 1lb bag of something. Cheetos.
Another meal.
@shahnm Sadly, this is the first thing that popped into my head… Great minds, as they say!
@ircon96 @shahnm Also I - my hunt for snacks often turn into a full meal when I think I need a veggie burger to go with those corn chips …
@shahnm Like Brunch?
@rtjhnstn Don’t talk to me about brunch.
@rtjhnstn @shahnm Oh no they didn’t!
A little of everything in the fridge.
@mikesmells Be careful. The batteries will break your teeth.
@shahnm why are you keeping batteries in the refrigerator??? Haha.
@mikesmells

@mikesmells @shahnm Trigger warning.
A piece of fruit.
@hchavers Did “the boss” tell u to say that?
Lately I’ve been on an olive kick. Ftom Lemon stuffed green olives found at Big Lots to sun dried tomato stuffed ones at Central Market.
@ironcheftoni
I’ve never heard of lemon stuffed, is that considered a healthy snack?
@Lynnerizer I dont know if they are healthy but i like them.
Pretzels?
@Euniceandrich … they said with conviction!
@Euniceandrich
@cinoclav @Euniceandrich
Handful of shredded cheese jerky.
@SpyreFox Is that the shredded cheese that got left out and is now all dried up and crunchy?
@xobzoo That’s the stuff!
Dried fruit. I’ve really been enjoying those 100% dried mango bars meh sold a few months or so ago. Very tasty and just enough tangy sweet.
@tweezak
Same! My kids don’t like em, so they’re all mine, muahaha!
Chocolate chip cookies

There’s best, as in healthiest, and then there’s - whatever I have on hand that’s quick and easy. Usually not the same.
jelly beans
@pooflady I LOVE jellybeans!
I’ve been on a plain old Hershey bar kick lately. They make me feel like a kid again.
@kostia It’s a shame you don’t like chocolate.
@blaineg I also like chocolate (70% cacao is a good level). I concur that this is a different thing.
Beware of the Cheddar Cheese Man!
A handful of pistachios.
@2many2no you must have the patience of a saint to crack all the pistachios and wait to have enough for a handful
@2many2no @mikesmells get the ones already shelled. I like the Wonderful brand flavored ones.
@ironcheftoni @mikesmells

@2many2no @ironcheftoni that is absolutely wild and super convient! But like cheating.
@2many2no @ironcheftoni @mikesmells
I’ve been addicted to the salt & Vinegar ones for a while now, the s&v almonds are great too.
@2many2no @ironcheftoni @mikesmells

If I already have fruit cut up I’ll eat that otherwise it’s some kind of nut bar.
Trail mix, hard-boiled eggs, sometimes popcorn. Not together, though.
a decent pour of good bourbon, just a couple of cubes of ice.
Fresh fruit in season, always on hand. Maybe a handful of nuts for protein.
Cocoa dusted almonds
Chocolate.
But I shouldn’t.
@blaineg it’s OK, we don’t judge here.
@pmarin But my doctor does, harshly.
/image moon cheese

/image whisps

@blaineg I like those as a sub for croutons on salads
Handful of shredded cheese AND that left-over half can of beer that you wisely decided NOT to finish the night before.
@pmarin I don’t know which is more absurd: leaving half of a beer unfinished, or shudder finishing it the next day…
@pmarin Cook those together with some sodium citrate and dunk some corn chips in it!

@Kyeh @pmarin

Great link, lots of good ideas for yummy cheese stuff!
Salt and vinegar potato chips. That always hits the spot for me.
@brmarwedel Have you ever tried some of the English flavors? Gravy, Prawn, and other questionable stuff I can’t recall right now.

@Lynnerizer Can you find decent deals there? I quickly checked them out when i first started seeing the ads & they seemed pricey…?

@Lynnerizer No scurvy for you!
@Lynnerizer Thanks for the info/tips, I’ll have to check them out again & see what i can find.
@blaineg

THAT’S for sure!
