Telling everyone to fuck off when I feel like it is nice. Breaking shit when I feel like it is fun. Playing music loud when I want rules too.
But it really starts to suck when work is the best part of my day.
@Lynnerizer I don’t think it’s too hard. The key is to outsource all the responsibilities. Oh, and have the money to pay all the people you’re outsourcing your responsibilities to. So, like a lot of things, it’s easier if you’re filthy rich.
@2many2no semi- fun story with that album’s cover…
there are 3 different versions of the Cover art.
V1 - Red Cross on nurse’s hat, capital B in Blink-182 logo
V2 - Same as V1, only the b is now lower case (which is what the band preferred) (version 2 linked above.)
V3 - Lower Case b, Red Cross logo removed, after they were contacted by the American Red Cross, who informed them, by using that Icon in a Non-Medical/humanitarian setting, they were Violating the Geneva Conventions…
(they’ve Gone after Video Games that use Red Crosses on medpacks, etc. as well.)
The income is nice. The responsibilities suck.
I wouldn’t know…
Lots more freedom.
Work to pay taxes, work to pay a mortgage, work for wife’s spending money. How I miss work for my own money.
I always knew growing up would suck and it has been confirmed.
When am I supposed to start feeling like a grown-up? Because I’m 40 and haven’t felt it yet…
@sicc574 64 and not there yet. Sorry long way to go.
@rustyh3 @sicc574 68, no sign of it here.
It’s so damned much work. Always.

Has someone figured out how to have one without the other? If so please bottle it up, i’m ALL in!!

@gt0163c
/giphy Kardashian rich!
Too many responsibilities. And can’t get away with things that kids can.
I like it, for the most part. I can be as weird as I want to and nobody can tell me I can’t have pasta for breakfast.
There should have been an “undecided” answer in the poll.
Arguably better than being a teenager, but that’s not setting the bar very high.
I love being an adult outside of the body degradation thing, but if that’s my biggest complaint I’ll take it.
It rules bc I make my own rules it sucks bc I have to take responsibility for them.
If it sucks, @ironcheftoni is to blame.
I can’t type what I want to say. This 6.1" phone screen is so small I can only see 1-2 lines at a time!
Being a grownup isn’t bad. At least after the kids grow up and move out, and you can actually save some money. That’s when the real freedom begins.
Growing old is mandatory.
Growing up is optional.
/youtube what is my age
