I should have posted this earlier today. Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings is FREE (to own) on Google Play today (Tuesday - hurry!). Its not the extended version but free is free - right? https://play.google.com/store/movies

Btw, I went to see the new Hobbit movie last night (Tuesday). Haven't ever read any of Tolkien's books and hadn't read the reviews, so I was surprised and saddened by what happened to some of my favorite characters.

- @PocketBrain Tolkien was in the middle of rewriting the Hobbit to match the style of Lord of the Rings when he died. Peter Jackson had access to his notes and used that on things that were flushed out from the original manuscript.
