@RiotDemon Similarly, the dog on the Brady Bunch was named “Tiger” and I have known more than one person in my life with a dog named “Bear”. To complete the circle, there was a TV show called “B.J. and the Bear” with a chimp named Bear.
FWIW, Raven is sometimes used for a given name for humans (Raven Symone, Raven Goodwin), so maye its not that big of a stretch. (even though I admit I was expecting a baby bird in the picture also)
Was expecting a baby raven… What a weird name to name an animal.
Very cute though.
@RiotDemon I thought so too! Not sure how they came up with it
@RiotDemon @tinamarie1974 If I ever get a baby raven, I shall name it “Chimp”, just to balance it out.
@phendrick @tinamarie1974 thank you.
/giphy you’re doing the Lord’s work

Just visited the zoo on Saturday, but alas the apes were not on display. Very nice zoo, and free!

I was expecting to see a bird, too. But how adorable! I love the gentle way the adults are playing with her.

I was afraid this was going to be a Baby Shark spinoff.
