I have something here for you. Your father wanted you to have these when you were old enough, but your uncle wouldn't allow it. He feared you might follow old Obi-Wan to some damn fool pool parties like your father used to.
@Headly Five long years, he had these rocks up his ass. Then when he died of dysentery, he gave me the rocks. I hid this uncomfortable piece of rock up my ass for two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. And now, little man, I give these speakers to you.
My god, Meh really missed the mark on this one it seems. It took 4 different days to rid themselves of around 5000 speaker docks and who knows how many remain. I hope they didn't have thousands of these, otherwise it will be speaker rock Saturday all year.
@Kleineleh Ya in the middle of winter in a extreme cold snap for the nation probably wasn't the best time to sell these. I say try again in March/April.
"Break in"? Come now, meh. Why would I break into a brand new pair of speakers? Are you selling speakers which are in need of repair? Why is there no panel to allow the owner acess to the apparently overly delicate electonics inside?
@spavlis In the earbud thread it was disclosed that apparently every speaker needs to be broke in using a series of alien sounds with breaks to stretch the Chinese quality products used to manufacture speakers, including the printer paper, superglue and window and door foam that make up the speaker.
@thinkedu it depends on the specs of your amplifier and the specs of your existing speakers, but I would say in most cases, yes. These would be mehrific to hook up to a receiver that has a second zone.
@jseay65 Component systems aren't gone, you can get them at thrift stores. We stored our 20 year old Bose speakers in the basement, since we stopped using them long ago. I got a component amp at a thrift sale and set it up in the back yard for a party last summer. Since the Bose speakers and amp weren't weather resistant, I put them on the shelf in the basement after the party. It will be easy to set them up again, as the speaker wires are still on the play structure.

Actually, if I had a pool type area, these would actually be pretty cool. Too bad no wireless, but 100w would probably need some sizable batteries. Anyone see what the RMS wattage was?
@givemeyoursoul they are passive (not powered) so RMS=0, the spec means they are capable of being fed up to 100 RMS watts from an amplified source unit (aka your home stereo).
@givemeyoursoul You know that huge, expensive stereo component system that you had in the 90's through the early to mid 2000's that has been replaced by smaller and more portable wireless and bluetooth speakers? Yeah, you would need to travel back in time and hook these up to that bad boy.
I bought two sets of the white outdoor AudioSource 5 1/4"s that were for sale a few months ago. I am not impressed, very Meh, even for the price. Source was a Harmon Kardon 100W per channel 7.1 head unit.

Got your rocks off, huh?
This is a rock solid deal if you like speakers or rocks, but especially if you like speakers that appear to look like rocks.
@studerc Rock on.
well I see they only waited a few days to sell what had been tweeted earlier...
But where do I dock my phone?
@chetmcdougal Maybe they will sell you a rope with it and you can tie it to the rock like a boat dock
Rock Meh
@heartny Like a hurri-meh?
@shawn_mitch @heartny like A-meh-deus?
@heartny -
Well, I guess when we don't have speaker dock Friday, we get speaker rock Saturday...
@Sabre99 Speaker docks rock. I have proof.
I have something here for you. Your father wanted you to have these when you were old enough, but your uncle wouldn't allow it. He feared you might follow old Obi-Wan to some damn fool pool parties like your father used to.

you can hook them up to a microphone and say "get off meh lawn"
@kdyzol This ^^
How often does that happen - 6 minutes and still no sales?
@RedOak holy shit someone bought one!
@VeeDubTDI It was someone looking for a rocking good time.
@RedOak Houston, we have a problem. 1-1/2 hours in and no sales in Texas or California.
Total meh. And not in purple (cue @Barney)
@Sarahsda I love purple.
For those about to rock....
....meh
If they threw in the top hat I'd have a way better chance of selling my wife on these.
@jseay65 I am torn between thinking that is her "I'm trying to fart quietly" face or her "I think I just pòoped a little in my tights" face...
Actually, that brings up a good point. Does rock and roll sound better when played on rock speakers?
Do the rock speakers need to roll to truly produce a sound pleasing to the audiophile?
....hmmmm
@TheDagda I almost signed in to comment on how much I loved this comment. Oh wait, I did sign in. I loved this comment.
Technically, everything is weather resistant. It's just a matter of how hard it resists.
I don't know what this Rock/Electric type Pokemon is, but apparently its meant for double battles.
olrockf?
I wouldn't even pay you 20 dollars for a pair of rock speakers but you could pay me 20 dollars to take them off your hands free shipping with vmp
♫something something speaker rocks♫
@GageLane Speaker docks rock. I have proof.
Love the last pic! That's how we make snowmen in San Diego.
@DaveInSoCal And Texas.
Someone in Oklahoma is going to have a pimped out back yard with three sets of speaker rocks!

What. you can't plug your ipod directly into them? meh.
I actually like these. I can't justify buying them right now, but I think they're kinda fun
@Kleineleh Ya in the middle of winter in a extreme cold snap for the nation probably wasn't the best time to sell these. I say try again in March/April.
@Outofmymind Good point. Even here in Texas it has been raining all year

"Break in"? Come now, meh. Why would I break into a brand new pair of speakers? Are you selling speakers which are in need of repair? Why is there no panel to allow the owner acess to the apparently overly delicate electonics inside?
This is very confusing.
@spavlis In the earbud thread it was disclosed that apparently every speaker needs to be broke in using a series of alien sounds with breaks to stretch the Chinese quality products used to manufacture speakers, including the printer paper, superglue and window and door foam that make up the speaker.
buy thousands and create an "avalanche" of sound! Amirite? Hello? Anyone?
What a piece of schist.
Can these be used in addition to your existing wired speakers?
@thinkedu it depends on the specs of your amplifier and the specs of your existing speakers, but I would say in most cases, yes. These would be mehrific to hook up to a receiver that has a second zone.
No Georgia Red. . . for that alone, meh.
@jrwofuga That's my boy!
I love purple.
These will be great by the pool that I don't have. I'll just wire them into the component system that nobody has.

@wew I used to be in a band called The Ultra Violets.
I love purple.
@wew I can't remember the last time I got the complete particulars for my gismo in use.
I can imagine the office conversation you guys had after buying these.
"I just bought rock speakers!"
"What do you mean, like speakers for listening to The Rolling Stones?"
"No, they're speakers shaped like rocks."
@Fej Followed by, " We'll put these up when we need to catch up on shipping."
i got nuthin'
Uhhhhh... hmm... >insert your own witty "rock" related comment here<
Wow, these haven't sold out! I am amazed! Such Gizmo Luggage Ultra such as these should have matriculate premium almost instantly!
